One thing you can say for the folks at PlusModel is you never know what they will release next. I sure didn't see this one coming that's for sure!
hats
When the title says 'Hats', that's exactly what it means, an even dozen hats of different types, most in what I would call, roughly, 40's style. What you get is a nice Fred Astaire top hat, a ladies floppy wide brim straw hat worn in the spring (will wonders never cease, it appears that I am giving fashion advice?), a couple of snap brim hats, three fedoras, a pair of knit stocking caps, two different styles of fur lined caps, and one wheel hat. Each of the hats is well molded in nice light gray resin with attachment points to the pour plugs that should all be easy to remove and clean up.
conclusion
If you were thinking about adding something a bit different to the your next diorama try a storefront of a millinery shop, that will be sure to be a topic of conversation when you enter that in your next contest.
SUMMARY
Highs: Twelve great resin hats!Lows: No baseball style caps. Verdict: Recommended, if you need that little extra for a figure or whatever, it will add a nice touch.

About Rick Cooper (clovis899) FROM: CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES
I have been modeling for about 30 years now. Once upon a time in another century I owned my own hobby shop; way more work than it was worth. I tip my opti-visor to those who make a real living at it. Mainly build armor these days but I keep working at figures, planes and the occasional ship.
First thing I thought of when I saw the set was this picture:
It depicts NZ soldiers on their advance to Florence in 1944. From National Library, New Zealand.
