There was discussion about the dischargers earlier in the thread and it was reckoned that they would stick with the wagman units. thanks for the feed back

hI looking back over the thread i see that somone did suggest keeping the smoke dischargers, but further on someone says to change then for brittish ones as we did that on the foxes, i also see on some of the old photos that you have changed the rear turret. Its looking good though keep up the good work.

I have an anti I.E.D type mount to the rear of the turret like the ones fitted to currant British vehicles in Iraq.

As usual let me know what you think?

Well, that's kind of funny, because in a way that's what happened. Challenger was developed for the U.K. to start with. It was the Shir 2 for Iran. With the fall of the Sha, they weren't going to give the Irainans their tanks. It was already in production, and they more or less decided to bail out the manufacture.

That is a Danish Leopard 2A5DK.......not a Canadian Leopard 2A6M.

First.....look at the barrel....it is the shorter L44.

Second....the tank is painted in the Danish camouflage tan and light brown camouflage.

Third....look at the Danish registration number on the hull.

Fourth....the Danes use the three colour....yellowish tan, light brown, and light gray Barracuda.

Fifth.....the Canadian Leopard 2A6M has slat armour on the rear of the hull as well.

Sixth....the Danish tanks have a bracket on the rear grills to carry an A frame.

What is VERY cool is that the Leopard 2A5DKs are now fitted with slat armour........there just might be a use for the Hobbyboss Leopard 2A5DK kit.....cover all the weak details with Barracuda and add the Eduard PE slat armour....voila.

My bad....I saw the flag and wasn't looking at it like you were, where you saw a red flag with a white cross, I saw a flag with red on each end, white in the middle, with a red maple leaf in the middle of that! Now that you saw red flag with a white cross, I see it now.

Jason....thanks for the differences in the 2 tanks.....I should have looked at it a little closer!
