Djeez Bruce!!
That's quite heavy!

Hope you'll get well soon and stay that way, too!!!!
It's better to do some scratchbuiling yourself than have it performed on you!

As for the rest of our fellowcampaigners: come on, guys!! Show us your builds and finish them!!
That's an order!!!

Just get better Bruce !!

I just finished weathering my Alan Panzer II, just finishing the equipment around.
For the 3rd build , a Dragon Panzer I A, I was messing with the "Magic Tracks"... there's nothing magic about it... they click, and then hell breaks loose on the floor ...65 single links of a Panzer I...
On my knees for hours..

Any guidelines on these Magic Links ??? I see these great builds with great tracks... am I that clumsy ?!

hello John,
when i did my magic tracks,i built a jig using a straight ruler on a piece of glass.i then pushed the tracks against the straight ruler using another ruler.i then used super glue to glue them together.i did them in batches of 5-8 tracks each.you have about 5 minutes before the glue is dry,so you can put them on the roadwheels to get the shape you want.
hope this helps,
cheers,
Bruce

hello John,
you can either do them seperate/batchs or what i did was after the glue dried for the top set i painted them.then when the bottom dried i painted them .i then glued them together and did touch up at the glued joints.
hope this helps.
cheers,
Bruce

Nice little diorama, Keith. Looks good to pose the horse next to the Pz. I. Then it really becomes obvious how small this panzer really was.

Thanks for participating

Hi all,

Thank you for your comments. The image is not the best as the light from the flash makes the tank look lighter than it really is.

The horse was a bit of an afterthought as it was in my spares box, but as suggested it does show a contrast between machine and beast which no doubt occurred during this period.

Thanks friend Ron!.

Update: I made a weathering in the hull and surface using a mixed of turpentine spirit and oils. In the chassis and wheels was added a mix of white pigments and Mr. Surfacer 1000 of Gunze for make a dry earth. For the tracks I used Metalcotte black (special for the metal pieces) and after dry I added a light touch of leather brown of Humbrol and painted with Vallejo chocolat-brown. The next step is to acclimate the chassis, wheels and tracks.

hello Rodolfo,
you have a great build,i am enjoying the step by step as you do your build.
i think that your build should be a Feature here at armorama, the way you explain how you are building this model is teaching me how to be a better modeler, and i am sure others are learning alot from your build.
you might want to send a PM to the staff and see iff they would like to make this build a Feature.
thanks for all of your hard work.
cheers,
Bruce

OK, third time is a charm. Thanks to TacFireGuru, Mike High, this should work this time.

Here is the Italeri Panzer I that I am building for the campaign. I just need to add the decals, install the tracks and dirty it up some. Hopefully I will be able to finish it up this weekend.

Thanks,

HARV

PS. Thanks again Mike.
