OK guys I am back with some news.
Sorry about little delay - was pritty busy at work last couple of weeks. All of you who sent me an e-mail are on the list now. I received much more requests then I expected in such a short period of time (which is a good sign, I guess ) so now it might take some time to cast sooo many sets - please be patient.
Thanks to all of you for understanding and for interest in my work!
Now a little update
I took an advice from Tomas Voigt and got in touch with Lawrence from Echelon Decals and he was kind enough to give me a good deal on his Canadian Leo decal sets! So now I will be able to include them in my conversion sets. I know that some of you guys already have those decals and don't need any more - thats why they will be optional. Just hit a reply to my e-mail and specify if you need the decals included in your set or not. Also I will need the mailing adresses to calculate the shipping costs.

The set with the decals included will be going for 43.00 CAD + shipping
The set without the decals 35.00 CAD + shipping
PayPal seems to be the easiest way for everybody.

Thanks for the update Andy,

Quality parts and quality casting takes time.....everyone should understand that all good things in resin come in good time.

Have a look over at Maple Leaf Models. All kinds of Canadian Modern armour there. Very nice stuff for conversions.

Same here. Really looking forward to getting this conversion set and starting on the Leopard. Now, are there any acceptable figures for crew?

All of the Canadian Leopard 2A6Ms have slat armour in Afghanistan......so if you want it accurate you have to do slat.

The Eduard slat for the 2A6M is way different to use than the Strykers slat sets........the assembly is easier........read my review of the set in the review section to get a better idea.

If you want to cheat, you could always do a tank like this one- it only had a couple of slat sections on the hull, and the rear of the tank. You'd still have to do the whole turret armour but it would save a bit of work- Still can't figure out how to do that barracuda camouflage though...

Echelon Fine Details is working on developing 1/35 Barracuda cam.......hopefully it will work out and do the trick.

Mmmmmm........................ "noice !! " (Aussie Joke that, you really need to be from Oz to "get it" ).

That Barracuda could be used in a lot of applications.

I've read your Slat Armour review Jason, it is very informative and thorough. Thanks for the info.

It looks great when it's done well for sure.

Cheers,

Paul
