Hi everyone,
This is my current progress on my figures. The camo is Waffen SS. I tryed to copy it as best as I could. It still needs all the shading and highlighting, but that will be done when I am done with the figure itself. What do you guys think?
The other fig I started just has the base on his camo. Keep watching.
thxs,
John

On the dio, he will be getting ready to charge the enemy.

Hey everyone, It has been a while since my last update, so here is one. This is the next guy.
His head was not focusing, but you can see the camo detail.
I have been really busy with work, so I will try to get more progress later.
thxs,
John

I really like your camo john. I have never tried SS camo before. What type of paint are you using on your figs?
As for the Marder II, if its anything like the Marder III H. get your glasses ready and be prepared to do alot of guesswork. The instructions suck. They are vague and overly simple, when the actual build is complex. However, tragon kits are my favorite becasue of the level of detail they give you. Also, i have found a rather fool-proof way of foing individual track links that is rather quick. First. tack your bogie wheels, idlers, and sprockets to the tank using blue tack. DO NOT GLUE THEM IN!!! use a slow stting glue (I use Model Master) and assemble the tracks against your table. Dont curve them or anything, just make it flat. Get as many links as the instructions say. Then, after you finish, let it sit for about five minuts. The glue should not have set completely, and they should be pliable. Take rour tracks and drape them on the tacked wheels and mold them to the wheels. Then, glue the ends together. Then you can puch the tracks down for the sag, ect. If you want, you can take the tracks off after they are glued and paint them, Note: this is not my original idea, and i got it off this site. Oh, and i will most likely join that compitition for junior modelers!!

Hey man, thanks for the info. I was wondering about those tracks. Can you give me that thread where you got that info? I am wanting to build the Marder II soon, but I am also very busy starting my Tiger for the TL contest and other things too.
Great to know your going to enter the contest. We got 4 kids now, including me, so if you join that will make 5!! Wil from this site also joined. Also the paint is Tamiya and ModelMaster, Base is
MM (Leather), w/Tamiya (Desert Yellow) & MM (Dark Green) splotches.and You can see how I did the dots. Hope that helps.
Talk to you later.
thxs,
John

Hey guys! Sorry to say this but I am stopping this blog.
I got that contest, and I dont have enough figs to finish this, plus money supply.I will still use the groundwork and the Tiger after I build it for the contest. Will put a couple figs and finish the groundwork. So I am sorry. It really sucks, but got to do what you got to do.
