IMO they should by all means. People are planning to build paper tanks like E-10 in this campaign, so go for it, if you have a plan ready.

Hi All, I'm just getting back into modelling so I'm going to throw myself in the deep end and sign up. Hope someones got a life ring I'm into wheels of most eras so should be able to come up with something. Like Jeff I'll require assistance along the way I think.

Cheers Mike I now need a for taking the plunge

I need to think of something really sick and nothing right out of the box either! Maybe kill two kits in one vehicle build.

Cool. Ahh, I thought as soon as we had 10 people signed up, it was 'game on'!

Well, I two more whiffers to build; an RCN Skyraider and a Centurion twin 40mm.

Sudzonic-
an invisible Humvee?

I am leaning toward something based on this:

Wheeled- because I don't want someone looking at it and saying, "hey aren't those T-55 tracks?"

I also want to do an exposed Engine bay- maybe a turbine- something with lots of brass wire and styrene tube- fun stuff!

To the parts box Boys !!!!!

Chomping at the bit---

I've been thinking about this one for a little while.

Now there are a lot of WWII German / Axis "What if ?" projects being started...... so I'm thinking something Allied would be nice.

WWII 1948....

The new Mk III Centurion is on duty on the Western Front and the 1st Polish Armoured Division has been issued with these beasts.

Tamiya kit, with a few extras and some nice WWII Commonwealth stowage.

Any more ideas or tips ?

Cheers

Hey Paul-
1948 Centurian a British "What-If" is a neat idea. Just take what you know about British Armor and extend it. You might also take some features of the later series Centurians and incorporate them since development would have been faster paced.

The other thing you might want to do is look at some of the German 1946 "What-If" features and dream up the British equivalent. Stand- off armor over the engine intakes, Stereoscopic or IR sights, remote weapons mini-turret for the commander.....

And of course a thermal wrapped gun from the Chieftain kit.

And that Berlin brigade camo....

Just some suggestions. Everyone who has a really good idea is keeping it to themselves I think.

Kick off date is next Monday- Woo Hoo

Steve
