Hi all, Just to let you know that I will have a delaid start on my project. I only have one arm working at 100% (left) and the right is only working at 15/20%. calficication of the right elbow joint, need a new joint, its an on going problem, (parachuting accident back in 1973) Due to the problem loosing the 'grip' facility in my right hand. We have a year here so no probs, have my kits for the project now that the idea has at last formulated!!!!!

will keep you all updated as things happen Mike

Progress on the E100:
- wheels done.
- Hull details done
- suspension done.
I dedicated this weekend to the E100 and the Strv122 for the Viking Campaign...

I'll use a JagdTiger 12,8 metal gun barel for this one

The "What if?" WWII 1948 Centurion is started - no pics yet

Lower Hull completed with the wheels - it needs a coat of paint now.

Upper Hull 90 % completed.

New tracks ordered (AFV) after I melted the 70's era Tamiya Vinyl tracks when I took to them with a hair dryer after priming . Lol ...They're not really melted, they're just REALLY warped !!

I have the 120 mm thermal wrapped cheiftain barrel ready for dry fitting, although I may use a LionMarc Chally 2 Barrel instead.

"Konigstiger" and E-100 killer anyone ??

I'll probably add the Cheiftain IR equipment to the turret, and perhaps the commanders cupola if I feel the need to carve up the Centurion that way.....I'll think about that one.

Cheers

Paul

Hello everybody, I've been having lots of doubts about WHAT 2 build for the campaign. An
E-100 ? Or maybe an E-10 ?
A series of strange events took place ... I lost some suspension parts of the E-10. And after have started on the E-100 the wheels are so bad this projects is banned too.
So my last effort for the campaign is a Panther F.
Some modifications maybe like a Voyager AA-armor kit (turret & enginedeck) and some less stuff on the hull. No shovels, axes and tools on this cat. The idea is to build an aggressive, slick-looking Panzer that makes the ennemy want to turn around & start running.
The chassis is almost finished,no pics because its a bit boring ! I'll post some pics of the progress ...

STOP RIGHT THERE ED!

You'll recall that my club recently did an E-10/E-25 build and all of the E-10/25's were heavily modified.

What "suspension parts" are you missing??

I think you are going to be OK

Hi Steve,
The part I'm missing is a "S"-shaped arm for the idlerwheel. This project is cancelled for a few weeks, first going to finnish the Panther "F" Then a well earned & needed vacation !
The idea (for the E-10) is quiet simple, rebuild the little panzer ! The holes for the suspensionarms are allready drilled out so I can lower the "E" into some kind of ambush-
position. Than change the position of the tractionwheels (up front) & the idlerwheels (in the rear) Engine up front which result in a kind of tracked pick-up truck. A base for "endless"
variations. Ambulance, AA-platform, bergepanzer etc. And yes I already have an idea, and
no I won't tell (one tip, it'll have some IR-equipement)
So enough talk now, back to the workbench !! I got a mean-looking Panther to build

Hello Steve, tnx for wanting to send me the part (B11) but , oh calamity , that's not my mis-sing part. The one I miss is n° B14. Been brainstormin' yesterday how to make a worthy replacement (actually replacing both of 'em ! ) I think I found a solution, just have a try this afternoon. Quiet dangerous actually because the Panther "F" is waiting, guess I'll going
have to fight the temptation to continiu the little "E".
I'll let you know how things evolve ... and again tnx.

Grtz Eddy
