Seems to me that I am not going to finish this one , the T-34 is primed but the flak guns aren't even started, been busy finishing a Quad and a Me-109, all three campaigns end up the same day .
See you next time

Another campaign I have to resign from....
I didn't do anything since my last post, so......
There has been some great work shown here! Good to see those old kits getting a new life!

Well now, looks like some cases of what we call "Torschlusspanik" in German (everyone running for the door before it closes).
Some really nice work done in this Campaign. DazzaD I think your Panther looks great. Have never tested the salt technique myself but I might give it a try someday. Diorama somewhere along the road?
And I also see we even have afeature on one of the entries, good show, Loobes!
Looking forward to the final overhauls! Cheers everyone!

Hi all, here is my overhauled Crusader II. Weathering isn't as good as I wanted but looks better than it did before.
The Airfix kit also comes with a Mk.III turret, will re-do that another time.
@Dani:nice LRDG,will have to pick one of those up to do sometime!
@Gary: nice IDF sherman, like the unit markings. What's the blue cross on the rear of the engine deck for? Aircraft recognition? I'm not very familiar with IDF stuff!
Nice overhauls everyone, thanks for the campaign!
Cheers,
Tim

Hi Tim,
Air recognition is correct. Early IDF tanks were cobbled together remains from the british and what they could find on former battlefields and junkyards in Europe after WW2. I believe these were the markings at the time of the Israeli war of independance of 1948.
Cheers, Gary

Hi Lewis,
Count me in, I am going to overhaul an old Tamiya KV I which I built 7yrs ago.
I will making modifications to update the model to make it look more "accurate". First thing first, I will saw off the side fenders which are not accurate and a dead-give-away that the built is a not up to date 1970s kit...hopefully making it comparable to the newer trumpeter ones.
Next up, I will be slapping up more mud, probably finishing it off with a winter camo using hairspray method.
Cheers

Hi
Have just added a pic to the gallery of my finished build. There are a load more in my photobucket album.

have enjoyed finally finishing this kit after it sat in a box for so many years.

Lewis,
Thanks for running the campaign and for the ribbon. This campaign gave me hope that some of the kits I built during a 5 week period in 2008 can still be salvaged. Thanks again, Prost

Hi Sal
It was just a completed kit that I'd stripped the paint off many years ago. I built it in my teens . Put it in a box & there it sat, waiting to be finished.
The Thorma shields ( Voyager)are very nice but a pig to get the brackets correct. Thought I'd use them instead of the usual Shurtzen shields.
