Looking good everybody. Keep at it. Plenty of time to get things completed before the end of the year. Thanks for keeping the thread alive. "Q"

@Scott That Bradley is really coming along well. That suspension will be really fun to paint.
@Andor Looks like you have a very nice clean build. The detail on that kit looks amazing.
On my part, I had an unexpected accident. While transporting the firing Light Gun to try some different camera shots, I dropped it. As it fell I tried to grab it and snapped off the elevation counter balance mechanisms/arms. They were a pain to put on straight the first time but proved to be a bigger trauma to reattach. And then their was the touch up painting to get things to match.
Anyway, here's an experimental shot at the repaired gun. This gun I'm ready to call finished. The towed version is now about 90% done.
Cheers,
tread_geek

Hi everybody,
last week I started a Bradley in 1/72 scale. As I've enlisted to this campaign at the start of the campaign, I would enter this Bradley in the campaign. Is this oke? I will post an update of the build this evening.

After I posted my reply above I went and enlisted anyway
I'd like to enter my Trumpeter Stryker ICV.
I added some Eduards PE set 22 227...
I also added Eduards PE set 22 229 for fun
I used Evergreen strip styrene for the brackets instead of the PE supplied ones. I found it too stressful bending over 16 brackets
I also made myself some boxes of goodies...
Thanks for letting me join

Your Stryker is looking really nice, Toby. I built this beast OOB with very minor touches added. The PE looks fantastic. Can't wait to see it with some paint.

Great progress on the Bradley, Scott. It looks very good. Looking forward to see it finished.
Beautiful AAVP7, Andor. The three colour camo will be a challenge in this scale.
Great details on the Stryker, Toby. The Eduard set adds some really nice details. True super detailing in small scale.

Warren,
Although the Heller Boeing 707 is not your official entry it sure is a nice build. Thanks for sharing, it kind of makes me want to build one of those wing'd things!
Kimmo,
Thanks for the link. Much appriciated. And since you last posted that link for me I found this review on the Internet.
Scott,
Good progeress on your M2A3 Bradley. 90% done.
Jan,
Well what can I say! At 99% finished can't wait to see how you'll finally display this piece of artillery! Sorry about your accident.
Andor,
That AAVP7A1 sure has an interesting shape and packed with lots of detail. And thanks for sharing your brand of primer. Looks smooth. I'll have to give it a try on one of my builds.
Gary,
Congrats and much thanks for assuming the Campaign Administrators position. You've been doing a super job of it. Hope that this hasn't taken away to much time from doing some modeling?
David,
Nice clean T-34-85.
Toby,
Looks like you did a great job on the photo-etch on your Stryker.
Francisco,
That is one super detailed Jeep. Shame you'll have to cover all of your work with paint. I'm sure it will turn out nice too!

Looking good folks. Keep at it. Finally got the ribbon posted. Took a little doing as it was named incorrectly on my part, but it is finally up and ready to be awarded at the end of next month. Looks like I finally found what I will build for the campaign as well. A RoG LeClerc. Found it on the shelves this evening. Looks to be an interesting kit. Hopefully I can get to it soon. Thanks, "Q"

Hi guys,
I just enlisted on the campaign, and as I am only starting to discover how the site works, I hope I have captured the spirit and adhered to the rules. (If not, run it by me, please. I only found the small rules section that gives start and end date and that it has to be small scale.)
This is a dio that I built last October. They are 1/285 vehicles and figures from GHQ. I guess the scale qualifies for the campaign.... ?
Thanks for watching !
Rob
PS: do I have to do anything apart from enlisting, like uploading pictures to a specific location ?

Nice work Rob. Unfortunately they don't qualify as they were built last year before this campaign even started. If you have already enlisted, you are good. Just need to build something new, and post some pics of it here and in the gallery section once completed. Thanks, "Q"
ps. Details on the campaign can be found under the campaigns tab at the top of the pages. Click on the appropriate tab and it will take you to that particular campaign.

Still, I am left wondering what is wrong with the start date. I thought the campaign had started in July ?

Were they built in Oct of 2008 or 2009? When you said last October in your post I understood that as 2008. For campaigns you typically join the campaign and then build something towards the theme. If you had already had this built, and then joined the campaign just to enter it, it sort of defeats the purpose of the campaign; that being to interest people in building new stuff. "Q"
