Anybody builds here?
This is my next WIP - M1025 HMMWV based GMV-S (Dumvee), built from Tamiya kit with Edurad PE set, Super Swamper wheels and with some parts from Pro Art Models Dumvee conversion set (I don't have got all parts from this set, some of changes will be from scratch).

If I finish the Abrams early build I'll be enlisting in Humming Along. I don't have enough HMMWVs done. I was trying a new lighting setup for photos tonight and pulled some stuff off the shelves as test subjects.

Nice job Keith, weathering perfect and I like it, its the first time I've seen the new M1114 kit finished and it certainly is a fast improvement over the older Mig kit ..but then again you did a great job!
The bolts retaining the Armour skirts looks scratchbuilt, is this the case and how come? It looks like painstaking work

Some nice builds already!
Keith the M1114 looks really nice.
Kuba-love the details you are adding to the Dumvee, always pleases me to see these little extra touches and its nice to know im not the only one mad enough to add those invisible details. Just one question-where did you get that light from that you have fitted next to the headlight on the right side?

Since I have signed up for this campaing I guess I have to come with a progres report (or lack there of...) Going to build one 1/48 and one 1/35 Tamiya Humvee with assorted after market. And I made a little progress on the 1/48 Humvee before I had to pack up my entire hobby room to make room for the new family memeber that will be arriving in july.
And as things look I won't be able to get the new hobby room set up until the summer, so at the moment I don't know if I will be able to finish or not, but I will at least try.
EDIT: and of course I found a M1151 conversion kit for Tamiyas 1/48 Humvee now...

yep I redid all the bolts with a punch and die as they come supplied on resin carriers but it easier to redo them as at least they are all a constant size and shape, I estimate I added around 100+ of them in the end, and it took the best part of two weeks
cheers

Keith - great Humvee! For me it could be loaded with some extras (bags, backpacks, boxes etc.), but - as I said - great, great work.
Rob - thanks a lot This light I get from this:
But I don't remember where exactlly it comes from

Kuba, your attention to detail on your GMV-S build is amazing. I'm not motivated enough to scratch half of what you have done. Your parts box is incredible too. I thought I had got a lot of parts but, my parts collection is no where near that.
Great M1114 Keith...I can't to start mine. I love the bolt detail that you added. I need to get a punch set like that. Who makes the punch set that you have?

Nice Humvees everyone. That 1/48 m1151 conversion is getting me drooling too. I'm still trying to finish the Bitter Taste of Defeat and Rats vs Foxes campaigns so no progress yet here. Watching everyone though

My first campaign almost done..! Not very pleased with the weathering, would be doing some touchup work.
Eventually i plan to sit this humvee on a base, so here it is. I'm posing it with the unfinished base.

There is full unarmored M998 in this Academy kit (plus of course additional parts for Gun Truck). For IDF Hamer Memugan You will use only suspension, bonnet and lower parts of body (with some minor parts). So You can use each Academy Humvee with Legend conversion set, this one too.
