Hi mates , Caleb the finish you guys put on 1/72nd scale gear is incredible .
I look forward to the base being finished .
Tony , yeah the IED kit looks cool , if it wouldnt accept the Legends iIsreali upamoured then I woulda built it outa the box .
I am constantly up against the modellers dilema - if you see something that you like , buy it cos it wont be there when you go back . - I cant find the plain Academy M9988 . stuff thats released is around for a while then disappears off the shelves .
I was looking for Tamiyas modern USA accessories but cant find em in Perth , I've ordered them , should be in when I'm home next .

This is Tamiya's 1/48 Humvee.Imanaged to get started, and I got the entire chassis done which is pretty well detailed for a smaller scale. However I am waiting for a Black-Dog Iraqi War Accessory Kit on back order,so I must wait a little to see how it intregates into the base kit.

Thanks, Anirudharun.
Your Humvee is very good, but try to use less glue. I love all SF Humvees, so I'm waiting for Your gallery

Glad you like it Kuba. I noticed the glue problem, my glue seems to have thinned out after being un-used for 3 months which is a bit irritating.

This is where I am today.. almost there..
Just some finishing touches to go...
The base.. though the camera can't quite seem to capture all the details. The colour looks quite flat here as compared to in real life.

My first campaign.. done!
Noob question since this is my first campaign: Is there any gallery that I need to upload the pics to or I just need to upload them here?
Since there's still time to end of this campaign, I may just do a 2nd humvee. Had alot of fun making this..

Hi Caleb, I pulled this from another campaign thread:
Step 1. be logged onto the site. then look at the top of the page for the menu bar that starts with "homepage" look over to the 6th one that says "Photo's" and click on it.
Step 2. you should be on a page that says "KitMaker Gallery. Look down the list till you see "campaigns" and click on that.
step 3. choose "currently active campaigns", then choose "!Humming Along" and the campaign pics should be displayed.
step 4. at the top right choose the "upload photos" option. then just upload the photo on the page.. it will go right into the campaign gallery.
Cheers,
Sean

Gday mates , I've unenlisted from this campaign as I wont have enough modelling time for a few months .
We are in the proccess of getting our home ready to sell as we need a bigger one .
So I've gotta paint and preen the old shack and all that stuff .
Catch ya Brian

Heres my nearly completed dumvee for the campaign. The base is pretty much finished and the NWM figures are painted and will be fixed to the base shortly.
pics of the figure are over on the constructive comments in my build log if you guys want to see them. The NWM figure really are amazingly cast/sculpted.

That's awesome Kuba.
Anthony, you'll make it
I decided before painting my Humvees, I could sneak this last one in too - the new 1/48 Dtoys M1151 conversion for 1/48
