Actually I am building the old Monogram 1/48 Charlie model. The funny thing about this model is that I dont think it is a C but actually a B model Huey because I believe that the engine provided with the model is a t-11 and not a t-13.
I am given to understand this is a UH-1B/540 It has the Charlie "door hinge"rotor and setup but a B airframe and engine. Quite a few units did actually use them . If the aftermarket stuff is allowed ina subset, Cobra Company has a seriously nice set for this aircraft.

Sounds like it's You, Mika and me versus the rest of the campaign. Let's protect mother Russia! I'll see if I can find a 1/72 Hind to help out!

savage I think italeri does a hind in 1/72 scale I've been told by my local model shop owner
that trumpeter are supposed to be doing a hind in 1/35 scale man you'll need a winch
to lift it off the bench!

If it's us vs. them, then I'll do two Russian choppers. Got plenty of them stashed away! Let's hear it for hobbyterra (http://www.hobbyterra.com) who are the plasticoholics answer to cheap drugs.

That would explain a lot. I was really confused when I figured that it couldnt have been a C because the engine. I just didnt know that they had B models with C door hinges and the 540 rotor system( Which btw was on the AH-1G :-) )

1:16 Hind D me thinks that will require a airworthiness certificate plus a licence, but boy will it be a conversation piece. Plus, you can always threaten the neighbour with it.
