[Perhaps making it less square would be better.
This is caused by the proportion of dimmensions of the official polish ensign. When you use it you can't change it...
Perhaps making it shorter and adding length will help. Maybe Photoshop ?

Sorry Paul, you don't undertand me...if you want to use a polish flag it's high and lenght must be in the proportion 5:8. We can only make it smaller but not wider...

As long as the gif size meets the maximum size I think we'll be right - perhaps smaller ? Not sure what size that file is.
I'm happy for the ribbon to be whatever the team wants.

Hi ppl,
If i am not mistaken, the presidential jack i suggested is also in the 5:8 proportion... which makes the ribbon i posted above a "distortion" of the original jack. If this is inappropriate please let me know, and I shall remove it promptly.

I don't know if this applies to the Presidencial Jack, but due to personal experiencie I know that you can't change neither colour nor any proportion of the national flag...

And what about pennants of hussaria, polish winged chivalry...
Something like this, maybe with white eagle on red field instead of cross??

Of course I will improve this banner, I need information about correct size of banner, or just show me correct size of banner (please give me a link) and I will do it, exactly as you want

Paul: A good neighbor's mother is passing away, the funeral will probably be this weekend. After which I will certainly have to hit the road for a week. I would leave the ribbon in the hands of Wojtek as he is a very talented artist. We also have several other artists in this thread who have some good ideas that can easily be applied to banners. I can work on some of those when I get back if nobody has made any for you by then.
Cheers

Thanks Jeremy,
we have lots of time, so lets see what we get and then we can then vote on the best solution.
Cheers

Hi Guys,
Got my Cromwell MkIV today in the mail so I'm all ready for the start and Paul you were correct (Not that I doubted you) it comes with the markings for this Tank of the HQ Division, 1st Polish Armored Division
Does anyone have any clear photos or other photos of this tank. Thanks in advance.
And by the way the banners and ribbons are are looking great but I don't know enough about Polish history to offer my opinion

I think this is a tank of gen.Maczek, commander of the 1st Polish Division with an artificial, wooden barrel.

Yes it is. But I wouldn't worry about the barrel. Use the kit one Sal

It the command tank full of communcations equipment etc. Therefore there was no room room for the gun breach.
A dummy Barrel was added so the Tank didn't look different.
