whats everyone building for the campaign?
im doing a small diorama of lance-sgt john baskeyfield, one of the 5 victoria cross winners of the campaign, although wounded himself, he operated a 6-pounder AT gun single handedly in osterbeek, knocking out two tigers and a stug, (allowing each tank to get within 100 yards before opening fire). before being killed.
a brave man indeed!
i bought a tamiya 6-pdr from Ebay, and will be kitbashing a figure.
cheers
joe

Well the thing I`m going to built for this campaign will be named: "Urquhearts Attic" and well you guessed it probably already it`s going to depict the Attic in Arnhem at the Zwarteweg where Urquheart was trapped for twelve hours. It will be some sort of shadowbox idea. Still figuring some things out and am Busy sketching the whole idea to visualize it a bit better.
And I have another small idea about the defence of Hotel Hartenstein but that is for when I have enough time left

You were at the right place to enlist. This whole campaign is set up from the Dutch section but all the rules and regs are in English too. This is for all the non dutch speaking people that want to participate. Everybody is free to enter here.
The Banners were made by me to promote the Market Garden Campaign. A lot of the People show with this banner in their Sig line that they are participating. I made 4 banners so far and you can Choose one if you like. you can find all the banners under this link.
Remember Market Garden Sig Line Banners The topic is min Dutch but the Banners tell the tale actually.
There is an official thread in the Campaign Command Central wich shows the official Rules and Regulations that are in this campaign. You can find them here:
Remember Market Garden Official Rules and Regulations In the first post in this thread shows the Dutch and the English version of the Rules and Regs.
Further there is Ribbon awarded when you participated and finished something. What the Ribbon is well that`s not sure till start of November. Why?? Well we let the Enlistees be free in what they want to see for the medal or ribbon. We opened a thread to where people can send in their design for a ribbon or medal and after October there will be a voting box to choose the winner out of all the Medals and ribbons we got.
You can find the Ribbon-designs here Market Garden Ribbon Designs
I Know this is a lot of reading for you but this is all the Info about the Campaign at the moment. More will come soon (the HartenStein Gazette) (

Clancy LYALL, M/Sgt. RA33804698
E company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division
Date of Birth: 10/14/1925, Orange, Texas
'' September 18-19 liberated Eindhoven, then waiting for the British, but they were quite late. A young P.A.N. (underground) boy of 14 or less came up to Mike Massoconni and myself and started to show us where the Germans were in the houses. We then proceeded to clear out the houses and captured about 6 Germans. A young P.A.N. person had only a small caliber pistol. I gave him my trench knife with my name on it, which to this day is in the museum in Eindhoven.''
The True Story of Clarence Lyall
I am building a diorama; A street in Eindhoven.2 PAN members,1 dutch commando and 2 US 506th paratroopers (Clancy and Mike).A young boy telling them where Germans are. Converted PAN members and dutch commando, working on boy now.
I believe RMG campaign will be an unforgetable one in Armorama because of the good leadership of Danny and Robert. They work and help great to all participants. It is my pleasure and honor to be a part of Remember Market Garden.
