@Paul(1721Lancers) - I agree with the others...nice work on the Cougar, love the weathering
@Anatoli - nice progress on the Strker
@FD3S20B - I'm a big fan of M113, and this one is looking good
@Rob(Dragon164) - looking forward to see your finished Stryker
Below are my progress
Base coat of US dark green and a few hints of yellow green
Detail painting and decals
Highlighted and matt varnish applied
All that's left is the weathering stage, and a few more stowage to be added. If time permits, I might add a figure or two

Guys my entry for the build. Just started last weekend.
I m gonna have it in tan. "Honey Badger" From Modern Warfare II. It seems there are not many Strykers in Tan. All the photos online are in olive green. H303 Gunze Sangyo

WOW, yufkey70. Your M1117 looks so sweet. The weathering, decal placement AND the details really pop!
Need to get back on my Guardian build AND the VAB too for I am starting to feel a bit better... PLUS, more Campaigns are about to engage next month which is about a week away.
YIKES!!!

Love the idea. Would a Crusader III fit into this category. I would put it into the category of AFV, but I know it was more used as an Infantry Support Vehicle. If it counts, then count me in.

Work continues on my ACV-300 after some break. I nearly completed the kit's original parts, now it is time for scratching.

I cannot wait till my AK OIF/OEF paint and weathering package. I drove down to the hobby store and got a bottle of H303 Gunze Sangyo. The Honey Badger have to wait. Going with the green stryker.
Painting and shading done. Working on the gun and misc items to hook on. Fastest build since a long time. 1 week

Very nice stryker Aaron. I think i have made a mistake with the jerry cans. I painted them olive green, are all the jerry cans nowadays in Tan color?

Here is my entry for the campain. It will end as a Danish m113 APC in the early eighties. An armored infantry platoon at this time consisted of three m113A2. The one I like to make is the platoon commanders vehicle.
I have chosen this one, because it has a bicycle strapped to the front of the APC. The bike was intended for liaison purpose, although it must truly have been a bummer to do this. The bikes themselves were old and very heavy (they were called Pansret mandskabscykel – Armored personnel bike) and had no gears to ease their use.
Another feature unique to Danish M113 at this time is the turret mounted MG. For some time the Danish army did not have a blank firing capability for the .50 cal’s. So to provide some kind of illusion for trials and maneuvers they mounted the LMG instead
So this is my project.

Just curious which campaign is this entered in? i see it in both the APC and the OP Afghanistan. you can only be in 1 campaign with 1 kit not 1 kit 2 campaigns. Gary?

I completed the "trim vane" of the ACV-300, it is different than the original AIFV's trim vane, so I scratchbuilded the part. I also added the anti slip surfaces using the P220 C waterproof sandpaper, it is looking nice and realistic but the method is very tiring and time consuming.
This is the real vehicle:
And this is my trim vane:

Well it seem I enter the same build for two different Campaigns. Was not aware you could not do that. So I will pull my M1117 and add this LAV

THAT Piahna is looking good! Real good!
Well I had to finally cough up $300 for a Gateway yesterday, so no new kits for awhile. I've had enough of this laptop... it's killing my back making benchtime a rarity.
So it looks I need to get back on the VAB and make it happen. Which isn't too bad a deal just thought about replacing it since it really turned out to unimpress me.
(I'm still holding out for a cheap LAV since I have wheels for it)
