This may come as a complete shock to many of you but I am in on this campaign. But where on earth am I going to find any cool weapons or accessories in something like 1/24 scale? If only there were some idiot out there trying to cast stuff like that in 1/24! Oh well. I'm sure that I'll be able to come up with something.

Geez,I just thought of something, don't we need a ribbon, or a banner,or something?
Well Jeff, you're just the man we need.
I can appoint you Jr. Campaign Leader (kinda makes ya feel younger already, huh? ) by the powers vested in me and Phill and let you have the task of designing a ribbon for us. Sound good?
Just let me know what you might need as far as ideas and materials so you can get started right away.
I was going to work on some ribbon ideas for both Campaigns ( the Sturmgeschütz Brigade Build )
but if someone wants to do it instead I would most certainly accept the offer.
Also, if you have any images or suggestions you think you would like to see, show us and we'll get 'em going on here. I mean, the start time IS January so we don't have too much time now!

I'm still deciding ...

I like your idea! How about making the smaller 1/76 tank something other than another Panther? Just to make it a bit more interesting.

James... Glad you're in.I'm sure if you look around you may be able to find some one to help you out
Jeff S. I am humbled by your offer, but the truth is,I am not the man for the banner job.My PC is old(like me)and I have no idea how to even start doing something like that.It took Me almost a month to figure out how to get pics in my gallery, and almost that long to figure out how to put them in a post .I like the Jr. Campaign Leader thing though
Phill... I'm sure a smart guy like you will figure it out and you'll be landscaping your yard in no time.Or at least doing the ground work on your large dios by remote control
Nige... I like the big tank/small tank idea. But do you have to pick on us braille scale guys? Not only will my kits be crushed, but also my feelings
Monte... You too with the braille bashing? Now I am truly crushed. So to speak Model on,Jeff T.

Oh, and to all of my (at least Phill and me) Campaigners ... put as many pictures you want in any of my threads.
You still only get one ribbon.

Jeff T- nothing personal buddy, I give you credit for working in a scale I could never deal with!

Monte ... Mate i will be converting a 1/16th RC STuG i started a few years ago and turning it into a model of a German prototype STuG.. they made a 1/1 scale wooden model and what makes this machine seriously cool ..they mounted a L71 88mm gun in it .
I just happen to have a 1/16th L71 gun and its even got the correct manlet for it too
Jeff S .. ya i know but i didnt know when this campaign started so i allowed to change my mind

I think we ALL admire those who work in the Braille Scale ...
... and then make it look like a much larger project.
Wish I could do it.

No problem Boys, scale bash all you want I like the little stuff.I can buy like 4 kits for the price of 1 larger scale kit,and they are fun to build.
Here are some pics of some of the stuff I've done and am working on .
Just to prove it is little...
The backpack was a challenge

So do you have a particular project in mind for us to drool over? Is it still the KT?
I'm still deciding ...
~ Jeff
Yep it still is the KT, however quite a few years ago, I had bought for me a kind of converted Tamiya 1/16 Porsche Turret KT that somebody had tried to make R/C, it was £30 in a junk shop. So I am planning on rebuilding it (I stripped it down some years ago) with the help of a Tamiya Full option kit to run R/C. When I get the chance I'll dig it out and take some snaps.
