I'm going to build my Cromwell Models 1/16 Hetzer kit. I got this kit from The Red Lancers way back in 1993! I think this is a good time to build it.

Thanks for the thought but i have that issue. In fact it was because of it that got the kit all those years ago. But if you have any issues with articles on the stuart that i would like. I have been working on a pair of Stuarts a honey and late m3 and I think Steven Zaloga did some articles.

Even more brilliant!! All you need is a micro-fridge and you're set! If I had that set-up then my wife really would never see me again...
(For those of you who do not have children residing in university dorms or living in military barracks--a "micro-fridge" is a mini-refrigerator/freezer with a microwave oven mounted on top. And truly one of the greatest inventions since the wheel...)

@Andy--your magical fridge is too funny! But I must agree with Jeff T., Budweiser? It may be the king o' beers, but there are better 'hand-steadying-for-delicate-work' inducing formulae out there. I prefer Blue Moon, Land Shark, or Yuengling. But beer preference, like model kit choices, is purely personal.
I'm hoping to get more work done on my traveling model show. Now that I got the King Tiger road wheels and tracks done I can concentrate on the knight. But after working 8 days straight, and with the Florida weather clearing up, I may have to hit the beach and forgo sitting in the hotel room filing and sanding. Or even better-take the kit to the beach and work on it! That would be a sight!

My last day in Florida I was able to get most of the rough sanding done on the knight. Also removed the aligent pin bumps from inside the helmet. They served their purpose in getting the two halves aligned and glued, but now they have to go.
On my way back to frigid northern Utah where I'll finish sanding it and start the painting process.

I also brought parts to a King Tiger for the KT Campaign. Anyone following that thread may have seen my posts concerning the 'nerd' factor when an avionics systems analyst is sitting in a hotel room in Florida working on a scale plastic model while watching episodes of The Big Bang Theory and Fringe.
The first few days there were overcast and rainy and not conducive to sightseeing. But rest assured, we did get out to the beach, looked at some historical sights, got our fill of delicious seafood, and observed the indigenous flora and fauna in their natural habitat--such as Hooters!
The job included, a good time was had by all.
