How about a campaign for building a predecessor AND it's successor? Any scale, era and type of vehicle (AFV, soft skins etc.) as long as you have BOTH vehicles. This can be as simple as a Sherman M4A4, succeeded (at least in British hands) by a Sherman Firefly. Or it can be as complex as a Panzer IV, succeed by a Panzer V / Panther.
I should note that they must be the 'real-time' replacement; you can't build something like a Sherman, and say it's successor is something like an M1A1 Abrams (technically true but there's a huge age gap).
(In my own stupidity I skipped this step before I sent the official campaign over view in, hence now I'm writing this.)

I'm in. From what I have in my stash I'm thinking along the lines of M3 Grant to M4 Sherman, or M4 Sherman to M26 Pershing. I do have a USMC M60A1 and USMC M1A1-HA that should fit the parameters of this campaign as well.

extend this campaign to aircraft and ships as well, and I bet you'd get lots of takers.

Would an Autoblinda 41 and then a 43 work? Jeff T.

Time frame would more than likely be March 1, 2013 to September 1, 2013. I personally feel that year long builds are a bit ridiculous but if you guys want more time, since it is two models, we can go for more time.
Jeff, my understanding, after a quick look at Wiki, that the Autoblinda 43 was a variant, not a replacement for the 41. If you can find something that shows the 43 was built to replace the 41 than I'd be fine with it.
Vance, I'd thought of that but I wasn't sure if this thread would get enough takers, let alone AeroScale and Model Shipwrights. I'll post this on both forums as well seeing that people seem to like my idea.

Just finished suggesting the campaign for both Model Shipwrights and Aeroscale, hopefully we see the same amount of interest.

Jeff, I would say that's a variant but considering the MK I was only a 105mm compared to the MK IIIs 120mm it's acceptable (not counting the likely hundreds of fixes and upgrades). Plus the Merkava is just cool! Anything Israeli is for that matter.

Current count for the ten enlisted (I'm guessing as a few haven't said anything definite);
Sean
Sal
Matt
Paul Badman (there's a bunch of 'Pauls' on here!)
Jeff
Jon
Six so far, though nothing from Model Shipwrights or Aeroscale.
Reposting the proposed timeline;
March 1st to September 1st, it's up for change if you guys feel we need more time but I personally think year long campaigns are silly.

Steph, that's great; you do realize there's a Jeep campaign going too, right?
Jason, as long as you stick with the proper Australian markings that's fine (it's odd they would replace the Leopard with something so similar).

Hey guy; just bumping the thread. Hoping to find some more interested people so I can get this submitted (correctly!).
Campaign would run from March 1st, 2013 to September 1st, 2013 unless people feel we need more time.
