Looking good Christopher!
Here is my quick and dirty fuel lines and a little improvement to the straps on the tanks.
Cheers Rob.

Thanks Paul!
I had to fix the straps on the barrels and finish up adding the rest of the parts, then a quick primer coat.
Cheers Rob.

Alright guys I am calling this one done!
It didn't turned out too badly, considering its basically a kit that is so full of weak links, I can't even comment on which is the weakest
I might add more stowage and stuff in the future; perhaps an oil drum on the rear fuel racks (the kit's original fuel drums are so poor as to be unusable)... but with a busy work schedule coming up, I will consider this one complete for this campaign.
Enjoy your builds!
Lawrence

Been a while since the last post and, at last, it's got to the fun bit.
Lots and lots to do yet and I haven't even started on the turret yet.
On Thursday I'm off to France for a couple of days with a fellow obsessive for a visit to the Musée des Blindés (and LOTS of other stops on the way and the way back) so I think I might take a pause until I get back (just in case I need to back-track!)
So, until I get back happy tanking all.

Nice work Jon!
The washes are certainly adding some depth to the build. Must be exciting to be going to visit the subject vehicle in the flesh! Have fun mate.
Christopher, wow, the diorama base is looking sweet, will really add some character to your scene, very keen to see this one progress.
Well done to Lawrence and Alex - great work and good to see the builds complete - looking forward to that moment with my own......

Chris looking good and the ground ground work is fantastic
Lawrence a job well done there , you have made
that somewhat sub-level kit look darned good
Jon coming on might fine there , I like the subtle colour changes on the hull due to the washing
Oh yes, have fun Saumur
John hang in their mate , not much further to go now.
James I can assure you that you are not alone in your wish to see your build finished
Stick at 'em lads, we have just over 3 weeks of official playing time left . At the end of next week I'll pop the big question for extra time .
Just in case anybody else decides to take leave so close to
the end

Then I started the famous fuel cells and their plumbing. I must say something about this: If you are using any of Tamiya's T-55 (T-55A, Enigma or Tiran-5) do not buy or use Legend's fender fuel tank set, it is useless except photo etch and it has wrong instructions about plumbing. But it will surely update any of Trumpeter's T-55.
Blast's Tiran conversion kit is simply perfect.
I think this is the correct plumbing of T-55 fuel cells:

wow, super details and build progress from all of you!
Time is ticking down for this campaign so I'm going to focus on the Czech FAVORIT driver training tank and then finish the other two after.
Kit supplied PE head light guard and fender supports

Cagkan lovely progress pics there and that what you said about the plumbing for the fuel cells also goes for the Tiran 6 from Legend, it's f§$%?&g wrong , and they take a lot of money for this wrongness
KoSprueone that PE looks extremely delicate , well done with forming of the headlight guard .
Tis a shame to hear that you will only get this one done for the campaign .
How much time would you need to do the rest?

Hi Paul,
My double build for this Campaign will turn into a single one too. I will keep building the other T-62 on the Buildlog.
I have 3 Campaigns to finish in May, a ton of tracks to clean / glue / paint ... T-54/55/62 + Stalin's Armour + Blitz 5 ..
Got to clean up some links

Nice work Cagkan! Jealous of your photo quality - they look great.
Bob, nice work on the Skif kit, still keen to see the Tiran APC variant completed, will have to watch your blog.
John, looks like you've finally won the battle of the indy links - that's why I see them as a dubious time vs. benefit addition to a build and only use them as a last resort!
Meanwhile I've 'Rebelised' my T-55 in a fairly drastic way, be keen to see what you think:
Lots more pics and info on the BLOG
Cheers,
James

Thanks for the comments, Paul. I can get all three done by May 31 but the FAVORIT will be done on time.
James - the SLA APC will be done soon after with the C1 for sure. Thanks for the interest.

Lawrence nice job on a dog of a kit. Overall looks great, the only thing I don't like are the tracks but that's not your doing just bad kit parts
James that is a damn good looking tank there and is very inspiring. The graffiti adds a nice touch and breaks up the overall grungy look of, as if someone owns this piece of junk and loves it enough to personalize it. I’m kind of following the same route with adding some color to my build, but not with graffiti. I all most went with the stylish writing, but instead will be using wildlife and civilians to add color.
Here’s what I have done so far. I finished painting the figures, still need to add the buckets for the villager. I also have a few more animals to paint up; a few monkeys will be climbing on the tank. I have the turret almost finished and then I can move onto the hull.

Thanks Christopher, could say the same about your own (being inspiring that is!) Love the parrot and the droppings are a great touch too! The figures are looking great and will certainly add a lot of life to your scene!

Drive sprockets, idlers, road wheels completed, together with couple of T-62 wheels with reinforced hub from Trumpeter kit. Only greasing nipples will be added to them.
I know that I can't finish this in time, I decided to go slower on, I will complete this more detailed. I opened a build log, here.

Finished up installing all the bits for the turret and got a coat of primer on that.
I don't think I will have tracks in time for the campaign end, they keep going from fully reserved to pending and back.
I will finish up what I have and complete it sans the tracks.
Cheers Rob.

James that is looking extremely cool keep it up mate.
Christopher good work on the figures there , and the parrot is great - reminds me of this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vuW6tQ0218
Cagkan nice progress there , but isn't that road
front road wheel a little large? . I'd check the measurements before you carry on
John making a steady progress there .
Rob you're also doing a fine job there, I have never
thought of adding tie downs like that . It must way easier than cutting them completely from the sprue first
.
What tracks are you trying to get? Maybe we can help you out here somehow.

Now I'll add the fender details, boxes, etc..
Paint, Camo, washes and filters then I'll work on the turret.
