James: Those figures are looking very nice. I'm glad to see someone going with black uniforms. This is a tricky color to properly represent.

Question to Matt the campaign leader
I just read over the campaign page. My figures are finished but the diorama that I plan to use them in wont be finished by the dead line, so does this still qualify?
I can place them in the planned position as a final photo for this or put them in a line-up
Please advise

David: Those look to be some exquisitely detailed figures.
I have a few seem lines to clean up. Then, I will be laying down some more paint.

Update:
I want to change my second set of guys for this kit. British 6 pounder anti-tank gun w/crew
I painted some more with the German Fallschirmjager Mortar Team.I paint the faces last. Did I mention they gave me the wrong mortar in the kit? Long story...but the mortar is from another kit & I'm not happy with it.

David and Robert, nice work on those figures.
I'm finishing up my figures...hopefully by the end of this weekend. I'm debating how to display them though. I'll probably just put together a simple base.

Thx Alex.
I'll just be making small individual bases for each of mine. Nothing too complex. I'll be scraping that mortar & try scratch-building my own 8cm.
Peter - I like your Brits!

Cheers Matt and David.
David the airborne figures and 6 pounder looks nice kit. I have an idea for you if you want a diorama piece.
Check out Lance Sgt. Baskeyfield South Staffordshire Regt. Arnhem . He was my old regt. he won the VC at Oosterbeek near Arnhem for singlehandedly firing the 6 pounder and holding back attacking tanks which were attacking his companies position.
Just an idea David.

Update:
So, I managed to get a base idea down packed, 6 Pounder protecting a T Junction in Operation Market Garden.
PS- That is my PAK 40 acting as a stand in. Hope you like it, still lots of work to do to it.

Nice work Alan!
Pretty kool Sal. Is that a Trumpeter offering? Dual PZ IV's?
Anyway..I want to add some info on that Bronco 6 Pounder kit, it is not for the novice builder!!! This kit is tedious as all hell !! So many small part's that make it a mess instead of a model...I did not have fun at all !! I imagine that new kit that is coming out with the 6 Pounder & Jeep with 5 figures will be the same gun !!
My 2 cents.

I'm basically done. I tacked the figures on to a base that is included with Academy's UAV Drone. I gave it a couple coats of gray paint. Threw in some barrels and it's basically done. I took some pictures to ferret out boo-boos and places that need addressing.
And some outdoors shots. You can't beat natural sunlight.
I'll touch those up and get my final pictures taken hopefully by the weekend. I'm probably going to include a background story.

Okay I'm calling this one done. I'll try to get the backstory up tonight or this weekend. I thought I had a copy of it on this machine but I don't. Copies should be in the gallery shortly.
Thanks for the Campaign Matt. It was a fun and motivating to actually doing something with this figure set. I had to scale plans back a bit, but that seems to be the norm for me of late. I'll stick these on a shelf until I get around to building a walker or a hover tank or something to put them with.

Hi Pete,
Looking good so far. Will you expand this one for the Market Garden Campaign?

Funny you should say that Al, I had thought about it, but then again I might go for a scene similar to what David did with the 6 pounder. We will see. loads of time.
