It's gone, as I said I sent it to a resin kit maker, who is registered on this site, and he was going to make a cast of the ball and chain armour. Well the way things have turned out is this, nothing. I now have a Hobby Boss hull with Friul tracks and no turret .
I'd like to see your Magach, after my disaster kit from ...

I'm in with a Hobby Boss Leo 2 that got sidelined about half way through assembly. And I've got a Italeri LAV-25 that has been gathering dust since the mid 90s. I've got an Academy K1A1 that needs paint. We'll have to see how much I can get done.

@Alex
My vote goes for the 90's dusted LAV !
@Paul
That's too bad...
You can always turn that Merkava into a What If project.. adding a 21cm Mortar gun or add a T-55 turret..
Any response from the Resin maker ? an update on how things are going ? refund ?
The Magach so far I've worked the front hull details but it's been boxed away for the last 2 months.
I would be a happy man if I could get the lower hull, wheels & tracks done by December.. but with a Buildlog and 5 Campaigns going on..I don't know.
Cheers,

John,
I was actually going to finish the LAV for the last Get Her Done Campaign but didn't. So technically, it's the Italeri kit's turn. I'd probably build it as a loaner vehicle for the 82nd Airborne during Desert Shield or as a desert painted USMC vehicle for Desert Storm. Time will decide what all I do.
Paul,
The guy using the turret to make molds for resin AM? Hopefully the guy has just put it off and the turret makes it back to you. Some great ideas for the hull though. Just to toss in another one, use it as a prime mover for towed artillery.

Just enlisted, I've got more started stuff than I care to admit. As a penance, I should probably limit myself to this campaign only until I clean out all the old stuff

Hi to all,
I will use the campaign to finish my Kübelwagen that I wasn't able to finish for the rapid reconnaissance campaign.
I fractured partially my humerus at the high of the shoulder by mid-august and got the operation the 22nd of August.
Yesterday the doctor told me that I was good to try to use my arm in my normal daily life.
I am still with the rehabilitation and it will take a while until I regain the full movement of my arm.
This campaign will be good to retake the hobby after the forced stop I had against my will.
Best regards,
Angel

John and Alex you two have given me the craziest ideas How about this:-
I'll have to change the hull top to accept the Chally 2 turret, as the resin man only got the ground turret I still posses the weapons systems for the commander and the secondary .50 cal. So you will get a truck and a tank from me
John
The guy owes me no money just the turret and the ball and chain armour, which I have now written off to bad luck

Hi all,
i'm in with an Trumpeter KV-1 mod.41. I'd started this build last winter, but lost interest in WW2 armor at this time. The golden opportunity to complete this build appeared.
I'll try to simultaneously build and paint this kit together with an SU-152 for Stalin's Armor campaign, currently running too.
Have fun and keep building.

Hi John,
I have an old Panzer IB which has stood unfinished collecting dust for a while now. This campaign might be just what I need to get her done. Assembly is finished and the basic colours and decals have been applied. She still needs some weathering, a few accessories here and there, and I need to work on the figures and the base before I can call her done. What do you think, does she qualify?

I would like to see some more work, but it fits the Campaign.
Still missing the weathering, figures and the ground work on that base.
You can still add some stowage and a couple of figures too..

John,
I'm looking to use this campaign like I have the current What-If Campaign. I'll focus on one and then add in whatever I can. If time allows, there might be more. I've got a bunch of unfinished kits...and a bunch of unfinished dioramas.
Anyway, I'll probably do the LAV first. Probably just keep it pretty straight-forward with a sand color and empty out the spares for stowage.

I will follow those...I have one of those Leo's in stash, and always wanted to get a LAV, how is the Italeri comparing to the latest Trumpeter's ?

I really should be using this to finish of my Bison 8x8 Ambulance, but I have a feeling that as soon as I do, Trumpeter will release the kit!
So, I'm in with my what-if Cougar C1A1, which is basically a Cougar 6x6 that has had the engine relocated the to the rear, with a new upper hull, and shortened wheelbase. Still a ways to go....
Here's where the build is at now. I'm thinking Cougar turret with a 25mm bushmaster, or maybe a LAV-25 turret.
