I'm going to finish my Trumpeter Sa-6 for this campaign. I started it a few years ago for an anti aircraft campaign. Got as far as a base coat of paint and that was it. Over the past couple of days I managed to get the Iraqi markings on it with a combination of hand painting and dry transfers. Now detail painting and a whole bunch of weathering 😊.

Great to see some others joining this great campaign
Things like this are a good idea to get those half built kits done. As I made a vow that I would not start any new kits until I finish the others.
This is my last one that needs to be finished, I have already finished one for this campaign..but what the hell
Here's my Bronco 1:35 Panzer II Ausf. D
Still have quite a bit of assembly, paint and weathering to do on this one!

Hello all I was looking thru my stash and came across my old Tamiya M-3 CFV #35131 I have done very little but enough to have it excluded from other campaigns so I am happy to jump in and try and knock this one out.

Fantastic dio Al....what's the actual size? It looks huge!

Hi Sean,
Many thanks. It's about 12 1/2 inches x 28 inches. A nice piece of shelving I salvaged from the old Vauxhall Headquarters in Luton, that was destined for the skip.
Ryan,
Looks like an interesting build.
Cheers

Jason the Spaag looks mean dude. I may have to buy one of those
Brent the three are looking great, the Chally 1 is top notch
Fabian you have a long way to go dude, stick in there
Alan I love the scene you have built there , what's the groundwork made from?
Ray the SA 6 is looking real cool , watch the tracks though I have read that they are very fragile
Jason the PzII is great looking vehicle , can't wait to see this one finished
Well I said I was going to get to things done here, the GMC is finished, now for the second. I said it would be a crossover Chally II - Merkava IV, well not anymore:
this arrived in the post today
with this
so now I get this one done
The resin guy sent me a sack full of apologies, which I accepted as I am not going to be resentful.
This means that Castoff will have some new products on there page soon, and this will be the premier of their "ball and chain armour" range ( Thanks Terry )

Some more progress on the Panzer II, both fenders are now on and have just started work on the tiny turret!

Great to see more and more old stuff being worked on .......
And just to show you can be distracted even when working on a campaign thats about finishing distractions, I pulled another form the stash (and actually finsihed it this time).
Brent
It's a Warlord Games 1/56th resin and white metal Cromwell.
Just a basic wargaming model, 14 parts in all and pretty soft on detail.
All brush painted, the base primer coat is humbrol, top, finshing and weathering is GW acrylics with final pigments being a mix of MIG and homemade.
And finished ready for the wargaming table .....
The Allied stars are handpainted but the other markings are left overs from a 48th Tamiya Cromwell as wargaming kits don't usually come with decals - odd but true lol

@Brent, the Cromwell really looks the goods..top stuff and I really like how it came out
Some more progress on my little Panzer II.
The interior of the small turret before it was buttoned up, showing off the 20mm cannon and MG34 machine gun.
Painted with the usual German grey with some colour modulation as well.
I still have to paint the tracks, paint the rubber on the road wheels as well as do some washes and fading on the paint.

So many boxes to choose from that it's a shame you only get one ribbon. This campaign should start with the 2nd class and end giving you oak leaves, swords and diamonds in gold . So for starters a stug IV that's been languishing for years as I realized it needed zimming (which it got a few months back). This is probably the only way to get me to finish things, and even then i'll have to push myself to paint them.

Looking good Jason. Got any plans for anything else after this .....?
Cause I'm continuing now I'm on a roll lol
Pulled a couple more from the stash.
I was going to enter some in the World of Tanks campaign but my PC won't run it properly so I'm waiting for the xbox release this summer.
So I started the pin washing on the Bar Morser, did a little more fading on the Pak44 and changed direction completely on the E-75.
I thought I'd try an urban style dark camo but to be honest it look like crud.
So painted it again (now for the third time) but this time I got a better plan before starting.
Faded out the red oxide a little and mixed up some of the roadwheels and components.
Added a bunch of missing details and now I'm just waiting for some fine drill bits as I broke my last one before added foliage camo attachment studs and wires to the turret.
I'm thinking of a chalk slogan or manufacturers marks but I'm not sure as my freehand blows.
cheers
Brent
Anyway, progress over the last week .........

@Brent, love that red oxide finish and the mixed up parts. Looks like a great "working prototype"
Would look great if you could put some of that experimental night vision gear on it as well..sort of as a "what if" scenario.
After the Panzer II is finished I am hoping to make a dio for it which I will do on here as well. Don't have any other half baked kits laying about.

I am back and re-enlisted. I pulled out due to hospitalization. Now I am treating this campaign as part of my rehabilitation program. The first target hasn't changed - Tamiya's old SdKfz 223 in DAK markings.

Brent, that King Tiger is simply awesome, a very fine looking machine and love the red primer finish.
I have finished my little Panzer II Ausf. D
and because I don't have any other part builds laying about, I guess I am finished which is sad. As I enjoyed the motivation that made you finish forgotten projects.
Will upload pics to campaign gallery as well.

That's a really great finsih Jason, it's really turned out great!
And I finished one today too. Not as nice a model but I'm happy with the finish. I'll pop a couple of pics in the gallery and will make a post over on the 1/48th board after dinner .....
cheers
