So, Matt... Does this mean that I can rob another D kit for gas-cans but cannot use the same multi-piece cans from the GreatWall set? I'm OK with that, actually, but trying to get clear on this, as neither would "count" under other OOTB rules! And can I or not use some stretched sprue from the original kit box to make my antenna aerial in place of the somewhat too-thick kit aerial?

I'll guess that even if I can source Dragon gas cans from another D kit, I'll not be able to source the needed "iron-strap rack" nor the usual leather or thin metal strapping tie-downs from a D donor kit... (which I would make out of sheet styrene)...

This campaign is limited to ground vehicles manufactured by Dragon or one of its affiliates. There will be no scratch building or after market parts allowed.

i was checking i "could" use them -assumed I could as they were part of the box - not that I had to use every part (cos we all know CH kits have enough for 3 different variants so it would be a very odd looking vehicle!!!)

Now there's a campaign idea... Use ALL the parts provided in a Dragon box! The "Complete OOTB no parts left behind Campaign"!

Things are bound to get strange indeed when you have an extra turret-shell, multiple gun-barrels "to choose from", extra fenders, multiple commander's cupolas, multiple sets of road-wheels, multiple sets of tracks, extra wheels, and way extra tools and bits n bobs to stick on! All of which, BTW, are to be found in one or another Dragon kit!

At least having a few extra tools stashed "here and there" would look OK.

Sounds like an interesting idea, I swear I have enough parts from the Panzer 4 series of tanks to nearly be able to build a complete vehicle from my spares box. There's another campaign idea "spares box panzer" where you must build something from all the parts you have spare.

On the more-serious note of actually selecting a Dragon kit for THIS OOTB campaign...

I think I'll do up the Cyber Hobby whitebox Pz. III ausf M early production kit 6605. I THINK that there are enough parts in this one box to pretty fully meet the needs of a Pz. III M "mit rahmen fur schutzhulle", so I intend to keep it to this one box.

That's Rahmen, not to be confused with RAMEN, for all the noodle fans out there! In the real world of noodles, RAMEN takes up Rahmen in the Abdomen!
