Lol.
This is getting silly now.
Guess I'll enter it in the unfinished business campaign.
It's your campaign Matt, so I'm happy to go with your rules. But Jeez that's harsh!

I know mate, but I didn't realise it was a rule! I thought I had to enrol, post a pic of the unstarted kit then I was free to start?
For future reference was it because I was slow posting the unstarted picture, or because I didn't get acceptance? I originally thought it was because it's not technically a vehicle, and the rules say "vehicle".
Thanks, hope you enjoy you builds. I'll be looking in
Andy

John: Can you please add that builds may not be started, before May 1st, 2014?
Andy: I will allow it, due to the failure to post the above statement in the rules. Please hold off further building, until the start date of the campaign.

Andy: No problem. The fault lay with me forgetting to make that clear. I'm just hosting too many campaigns, at once.

I have to say that I'm quite disturbed by the dearth of entries into this campaign of Dragon's greatest accomplishment: their M4 Sherman line of kits (bit appalling, actually). I'm sorely tempted to join in to try to redress the balance in my small way. My problems are:
1) Which one? I'm afraid when they were introducing a new Shermie every month or so a few years back I got into them in what I can only describe as a bit of an obsessive way (my wife describes it with rather a dirty look).
2) I have WAY too much to do already. But really, when did that ever stop any of us.
I'll go dig around and figure out which of them are still virgin and see if I can live with the kit markings in any of those. Then we shall see!
Actually, I didn't see any T-34s listed either. Hmmm...

Maybe it's just me but DML isn't the first company I would look to for a Sherman, or a T-34. Especially after having built a Tasca Sherman.
Oddly I was thinking of doing the El Alamain 'Cocky' kit though since we can't swap decals.
What cheek! Let them have it!

I haven't ruled out masks or stencils, as I'm sure they will be used on road wheels.

Christopher,
That's the spirit!
Seriously though, you're right of course. The Tasca kit are beautiful! Too bad my money ran out not too long after they started releasing them.
Still, I remember when Dragon started their updated Sherman line. Man, Shermaholics were in hog heaven!
Anyway, here are the kits I have available for the campaign:
I'm leaning towards either the British Mk.III or the M4A3(75) ETO, but they're all on the table. Anyone have any advice/requests?
Michael

Michael, first of all let me welcome you aboard.
I'm quite sure there will be a Sherman Campaign, a Pacific Campaign and a few Dragon Campaigns too (Mk.III or IV) so you have all the bases covered ..
My vote goes for the ETO (1st choice) and M4A2 Late(2nd choice)
I'll pick the mighty JagdTiger or a M50 IDF Sherman for this one

Well, with the start date coming up, I need to get my cave in order.
Hopefully I can find the motivation to do it.
I really need to build something. Time and especially energy is limited as of late.
I will be doing a half track with either Single 20mm or a quad.
I can't remember what the kit is that I have.

Michael: Welcome to the campaign. I would go with the Tarawa tank, but I wouldn't be able to add the am(the reason I want to build that kit). I'm sure which ever one you choose will be great.

This one snuck up on me. Heck I don't even have a kit yet. I don't know what I'm going to build yet. I had planned on starting later anyway.

Hi Matt,
I'd like to enlist. I don't know what I'll build yet. Either the multi turreted Neubau-Fahrzeug Nr.3-5 #6690 or the tiny but jam packed full of details Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. C #6432.
My first campaign and I'll have to teach myself how to load photos here (old fart syndrome) but I'm in !
Tom

A whole bunch of figures, Too many half built kits and a (gasp) wing thing

I hope you guys cleaned up the workbench, dozens of sprues laying around, crappy instructions, 4 different sprockets and hatches, spare box nightmare... You guessed right it's another Dragon Campaign.
Ok guys, it will start in a few hours, here's the KitMaker Campaign Gallery.

Hi,
I will be joining in with this Dragon Railcar. It has been sitting in my stash for several years collecting dust. Time for me to get it done.

I'm in the same boat/tank/whatever as you, Alex. I'm already knee-deep in a couple of other campaigns and I really don't want to bite off more than I can chew.
Still, I so want to get into this one, even though the idea of no scratchbuilding is driving me crazy. I can't recall the last time I built something for which I didn't at least replace some grabhandles or a tow cable. It's like an itch I can't scratch! (get it? "can't scratch"!)

I was making great progress. I have most of the lower tub finished. Then, I realized that I was not supposed to remove the arrows on the exhaust. Oh well. Looks like I will have to come up with a spares kit.
