Bit late to join but I may as well give it a go and hope for the best!
I've nearly finished my Univ Carrier diorama but thats already taken.
I've got a Churchill Crocodile in the post but thats already taken also!
Looking at the list I may go for a Rover Ambulance if I can track one down. (I'm not sure what ere these are though - post WWII? can anyone help?). ISTR seeing a stretcher party kit as well so may build a strecther party/ambulance/aid station diorama type thingumyjig!
On second thoughts. put me down for the Ambulance for now.

welcome aboad hip priest,
the tamiya rover is pretty old, and on limited re-release. you should be able to get one on ebay, and im sure my local model shop has one. whereabouts in the uk are you?
as for the vehicle itself, im not sure of any eras, but it looks like one of the first few marks of landy defender, but im sure someone will correct me on that.
the figures look like a poor attempt to recreate 44 pattern webbing,
id recommend you throw them, firing line do some nice figures that could go with the rover
cheers
joe

just thought id mention, ive decided to change which kits im gonna build,
the ones id originally mentioned, the ram kangaroo has missing parts which need to be either bought or scratchbuilt,
the QLT is to big a job to do in time,
so im going with some easier plastic kits, the staghound isnt far from completion so ill still enter it.
cheers

Look again. Another two arrived tonight in ambulance and SAS guises. I think they are basically a late sixties and early seventies era, 109inch wheelbase, series III Landrover. This was the stalwart of many of the worlds armed forces, especially the British army. The series III was replaced by the 90 and 110 Defender series, which have largely been replaced in turn with the awesome "Landrover Wolf". I have just about completed my SAS Landrover "Pinky". I have the ambulance waiting to be started (and another SAS Landy). A nice kit.
Hope this helps

My entry for this GB GB is nearly done. I've (nearly) cobbled together Tumpeter's AS-90, needing just some minor pieces left along with a coat of paint.
All in all a nice kit, certainly for an artilleriholic such as myself, but littered with a grotesque number of ejector pin marks, and a surpising number of fit problems in some of the assemblies. My ever-popular tube of Squadron White Putty took care of all this in a flash, and the kit looks impressive on the work bench.
I'll post pictures when I take some.

OK, here are some in-progress shots of my AS-90.
Still to do:
* Paint the beast
* Replace front mudguards. They were utterly butchered by the sprue gates
* Build the stowage rack on top
* Fix the mirrors on the fenders. I actually managed to build them, but they didn't survive beyond the session.
I put a grunt in fron of it so that you can see the size of the gun - it'll raise caliber envy in the most well endowed MBT.
Enjoy!
Mika

Hi there Joe . I wish you could send me your extra interrior pictures , tell me if you want to mail them i ll give u my mail or post em here. Further more the problem i have is that the old Tamiya instruction sheet is solid in Japanese language and even the description of the colours is Japanese. So if someone has the newest version of the Crocodile and the sheet has some colour descriptions in English and some company codes for every colour i d appreciate if i could have a scan of it. Further more thereis an option with an american star as insignia (which i will not use) but whats that, maybe its desin there but my Japanese lately have gone a lil bad!!! Some help guys there please . Thanks in advance !!!!
