I was going through my coveted copy of concords German armored units at Arnhem yesterday and i think i found just the oddball vehicle to built for this campaign. I'm keeping it under the hat fora bit till I'm fully sure which kit i need.

Eeehmmm Nope, Nope, Actually like that idea and I have a Bakfiets in scale but nope and nope.
Allthough now you mentioned the Bakfiets. And I like the fact that you actually know the word Bakfiets. I have to look at my parents house where the thing is I might do something with it for this campaign. Thanks for that idea.
By the way... I have no clue how Bakfiets translates. Freightbike could be quite a good name for it. I guess they are not very well known in America. If there is no english word for it.

I'm in! I've got the Miniart crossroads dio in the stash I bought cheap off ebay last year with no clear plan what to do with it. I think I'll pick up the Bronco 6lber and crew and have them covering the junction engaging something off the base.

I'm thinking very strongly about a medical jeep from the 82nd Airborne, kitbashing the italieri jeep ambulance and the Tamiya jeep.

Well I was just doing some research and it appears that I could use a Tasca Luchs that I have. The decals put it belonging to a Pz.Aufkl.Abt.9 which was involved in Market-Garden and included Luchs in the ranks. So I think I will do this with that.
I do some 3D design work. Message me for more info on what I'm doing or have done. Inquire about a product catalog.

Change of plans for me. Went to the Detroit show and came away with a 2cm flak. Going to try and mate it to a 250. Does anyone have some interior shots. So that I can replicate the mount? Thanks.

Hmmmm. I just came back from my parents house and searched on my old workbench there but it seems i have sold the bakfiets (cargo bicycle.) Somewhere in the past. It will not change much to my original idea. But it would have been a nice addition to it.

Yeah John he was from Stoke where I come from, same regiment I was in.
And also Four more VC's were awarded after the battle, including one for Major Robert Cain, commander of B Company, 2nd Battalion, South Staffordshire Regiment.[29] The 2nd Battalion thus became the only British battalion to receive two VCs during one engagement in the Second World War.[3]

I have an Alan 15cm sIG 33 infantry gun that I'd also be able to use... But it's currently up for sale and that's the only thing stopping me from building it. I'd rather not build the Luchs just yet because its a bit too advanced for me.

I just scored a set of the Bronco British Airborne Equipment off eBay, so it would seem that it has been released overseas. For those wanting it for the campaign there are several more on there.

I am going to build the Tamiya Panther G Early Versionas a member of the 9th SS Panzer Division.
Looking forward to this build. I have a couple of PE kits to get prior to the start but I have plenty of time.

If you haven't already got it Rob van Meel's British Airborne Jeeps 1942 - 1945 is worth a purchase, also contains stowage and lashing diagrams for jeeps etc in the Horsa
. What a turn up for the books that one is.
