I'm in! I've got many Leo 1 projects in the pipeline, it is definitely the right occasion. The toughest part will be to decide which one I go for.
Hopefully we'll get ample time to get it done! [EDIT just saw Keo's note about having a year. Yep, THAT is ample time all right. ]

Most definitely Interested in this Campaign..however two small problems
A) I have already begun work and my Leopard 1 based build.
Question: Would I be able to use my current build come September?
B) My building speed is rather slow and I most likely would not finish with a short Campaign time period.
Question: What is time length for this Campaign? (I may have missed this bit of information)

Just seemed to have died out.... I waited until September 1st and started on my Leopard C2. Would love to see the campaign go, as I love Leopards, but it isn't part of my build schedule anymore.

I made the request for this campaign months ago - never heard a thing from the staff. But that's not the first time at Armorama. If your not in their "circle of trust" you're not payed any attention. I'm sorry for the inconvenience for all you who have showed your interest in this.

I'm still vary interested in this campaign and are only about 20% along on my current Leopard 1 based build. I wonder if this should have been/be posted under the campaigne sub forum. Still keeping my figures crossed and hope it's not a victim of the "Good ol boys club" syndrome as is being suggested.

I have written to Armorama to see if we can get this going. I'd like to join in too and have suggested a prize for the winner

It would be great if this would take off any time soon. I saw a great 1/72 rendition which I always wanted to try and reproduce so this might be a good incentive. Even more so if Michael is dropping in a prize ;D

I have Meng's 1A4 in the stash plus lots of goodies from Perfect Scale Modellbau for it, so if this campaign gets off the ground, count me in!

I could go Mengs 1A4 but would be even better if it included Leo 2's as well, finally have an excuse to Tamiya A6 with Voyager Pro set

Am a bit to far along to feel like I could/should join the campaign. However, if it gets approved and the person running the campaign is ok with it I would love to post along with the campaign... As slow as I build most people will finish theirs before me anyway.....

Let's hope that this comes back from the dead ! There are so many new Leopard kits both I &II's coming out now. I would like to enlist if it does.
Maybe this campaign request should be re-submitted. It could be something that simple.
Have a good weekend all !

When this campaign is submitted for approval and enlistment begins the following The Rules and Regs need to be added.
a. Partially started kits ARE allowed provided that the kit is NOT more than 50% finished.
(Having only un-started kits will severely limit the appeal and potential number of participants. I mean really what does it matter if the kit is started or not and as several people have already stated they have began their Leopards, so I think 50% is just fine. This will be somewhat subjective but I think everyone will understand the intent.)
b. Building can be started if NOT more than 50% of the kit is finished on the official start date.
(See Above)
c. Posting your builds in other campaigns IS allowed.
(See Above, “I never understood why this should not be allowed in the first place” from the 500+ Campaign)
Just my 0.02$USD
Hope to see you all on the Campaign Front

I see it is in the "awaiting approval" pile, so fingers crossed it gets the green light soon!

How do you know? Where do you look?
Posted: Saturday, October 24, 2015 - 07:13 PM UTC
I went to the "Campaigns" tab and scrolled all the way to the bottom of the page. Way below the list of Active campaigns comes the Waiting Approval list. It's down there in the basement behind the filing cabinet of unpopular super-store development plans your local council didn't want anyone to hear about until after the bulldozers moved in...
