Those are the ones that came in the Tiger I box. I think they are the ace commander set and my tank was bundle with it.

Stephen!
That's great! I think your crew looks very good. I sure don't think I could paint them that well. I like your dip a lot. Is the zimmerit photo etch?

Looks like there won't be a lot of Tamiya left once you get done with all that PE!

Some more progress. Tracks all cleaned up, ready to be glued.

The sprockets didn't sit even when glued. Track would fit on one side, and not line up on the other. My fix was using some Testors liquid cement (love how well it holds) and place track around the sprocket and taped them in place.

Didn't really like how the light guards were done in two halves. So I made my own with some brass wire and some evergreen rod. The splash guard has deep ejector pin marks on the surface facing forwards, so that needs some filling.

Gonna need some filling in on the bottom here and around the tow hooks.

Engine deck is done, real easy work here. Fuel drum mounts are in place.

Road wheels painted. Noticed the back part of the road wheels lack a lip.

The two forward most road wheels are like this:

Hi everyone, Just a quick update. The hull of the M51 is in primer. Added photo etch straps to the jerry cans and a little more stowage. Working on turret now. Happy modelling, nice to see those builds coming along

Also my wife gave me my birthday present a couple weeks early!

was wondering what kit you were building. Was surprised you had fitment issues with a Tamiya kit.

Some more PE work and work on the trails. I'll add the PE bands/clamps to the trails next in lieu of the molded on stuff.

Can someone resize the ribbon that Pawel made on page three, and then I can get it added to the campaign.

I love that little Russian BT! Was it an easy build? How about the tracks. I seem to remember they are working tracks.

Are these Bulldogs bad kits? I have two of them that have turned up in different stacks in the closet. They look pretty good in the box . . .

The Walker Bulldog is a good kit from Tamiya, it'a oldie but a goody. They build up easy and are pretty accurate for what they are.

Thank you for the re size on the banner as well, I for whatever reason can't get the ribbon added. When I try to add it, and select the file, it just shows up as a broken link.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong and or missing something here?

As I recall, you'll need to save the image to your gallery first, then add it as the campaign award from there.

Can anyone do this or does it have to be since I'm the campaign leader, I was the campaign leader for the Japanese group build and I remember someone doing that and getting the award ribbon saved and displayed.

Campaigns administrator, John Pereira (Nito74), can do it for you. Just shoot him a PM.

Charlie-66,
Excellent BT-7. It looks like it was a nice kit. That is one I have in my 'stash' for future reference. I have found that the most recent Tamiya kits are well engineered and the parts fit is better than most others out there. I found my Mk. IV Male build for this campaign was very good, almost no putty at all - you could enjoy the build and not fight with the parts.

Again, a good job on the BT. BTW, what paint did you use for the Protective Green, based on the photos it looks more 'green' than 4BO, IMHO.
