So finally got the build part done on this one. A pleasure to put together, and fun to add some extra detailed bits.
Next up the primer coat and laying out what kind of camo pattern I want. Should be fun.

Chapman,
Looks good! I like the texture you added. Are the metal barrels aftermarket? I imagine they are. Are you going to paint the tracks on the tank or take them off first? Looks real good

I have made a little progress myself. Got the base color down. Blocking in the stowage now. I still have a lot of packs to add to the bar around the turret and perhaps some more gear on the engine deck. Lots more hand painting to do then sealing, decals, and washes.

Bryan, your M51 is looking good.
My A/B (2) arrived, but I now have to hunt down some pipe fittings so I can hook up to the aircompressr

Chris & Bryan,
Great work. I've built the Char B1, great kit. I'm going to have to keep my eyes peeled for the M-51, it's looking like a fun build.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Thanks guys for the positive feedback. Byran, love the callsign and yes the barrels I got are from RB Model and very nice. I'm planning to paint the tracks separately, then CA glue them into place after the camo is painted but before the final weathering.
Love the progress on the M51, really nice color modulation, and the extra gear is really gonna make it sing.
Keep the great work going gents!

Greetings folks.
My entry for the campaign will be a Tamiya 1/35 Tiger I Late. I will be doing a twin build with an Academy 1/35 Tiger I Early for the 500+ campaign. I will be creating a build blog soon and will be posting a link to that here. So without any further ado ....
The kit. Will be building both kitties together.
AM include an Atak resin zimmerit and ET Model PE grills for the engine covers.
Thanks for looking

Today I started my build for this campaign. I'm going to be building a Corsair in 1/48 scale, I'm doing this one as a trial run, if it goes well, I may splurge for the 1/32 variant.
The plan is to build this OOB and then with the wings up and folded, with all of the cowls and doors open. I'm going to try my hand at detailing up things like the wheel bays, and cockpit.
Thanks for looking!

Raj,
Dueling Tiger build sounds cool. I have that Academy kit sitting on the to do list, so am interested to hear about what you think of it. Do you know when the late Tiger tamiya kit was released?

I've got the line on a brand new one for $75.00, a guy in the local IPMS chapter bought both variants, and then decided that he doesn't want to build the 1/2 model/variant, so he offered me the kit for $75.00 and I can basically get it anytime.
We will see though!

Awesome! If it were me, that kit would already be in my stash!

As per scalemates, the Tamiya Late was released in 2010. As far as the Academy kit goes, so far i've not faced any problems. I'll get my build log set up asap and post updates there.
@steve
Hope i don't make a hash of it

And I'm in with the T55. I'll backdate it to the T54 type 1949 with the Legend AM set. Will post the startup photo early next week.

I want the kit I think, but we will have to see how this one goes, as for $75 bucks I could get a sheet of aftermarket decals for both my F18 build and F4 phantom build, and then all the photo etch I need, so to me that's more justified at this time.
Besides he said last time we talked, anytime I want.........it aint going anywhere.
So there's no real rush on my end.

Retiredyank, looking forward to your build. I have the Panzer III L in the stash. Going to build it as soon as I finish my AMX 30b2. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
