Turned out really nice, Angel! Looking forward to see you tackle the canvas, a subject I never tried myself.

Thanks Cristian!
I removed the right fender of Sd.Anh.52 to make it look like in the picture.
Found a new source yesterday(History of the AA Artillery of Bulgarian Army),stating that the Vierling was captured by units of 16.ID during fighting around Mur river(late March-mid April 1945).It was transferred to the AA battery of the division and put into immediate use.The Vierling took part in the bringing down of a Bf.109,straffing the divisional CP, on April 28 in the vicinity of Chakovetz.
So the picture is not from December 2nd 1944 parade, but maybe from the return of the unit after the war.
I've also never tackled canvas protectors sofar, but have some ideas and will describe the way I did them-if you like them.

Niiiice!!! You did a great job, Angel! Congrats on the finished build!
May I ask what was the rust colour used for chipping? It seems to be a black-brown of some kind. Thanks!

Thanks Cristian!
For chipping I used AK Interactive's Chipping Color (AK-711).
Hope this helps,

Angel,
You did a great job on the flakvierling, I like the chipping and weathering. Congratulations on your completed build, it's an interesting piece of history.
I will need to finish up my MPC AT-SI soon.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Howdy Y'all
I'm starting to see the finish line. I did some "modulation" painting today, not really satisfied but I can do some "repair" when I apply a filter. I also need to glue the guns back on, they broke in transit when I took it to a model club meeting.
Sorry about the "sideways" photo; I keep forgetting how to rotate photos. I'll do more next weekend. I'm going for a Soviet "WIF" look.

I needed something to do while waiting for my tracks to arrive so I can complete my Dragon campaign build.
I shouldn't have any problem getting this one completed by the end of the month. The Tamiya Hetzer Mid-production. I'll be using the rubber band tracks and leaving off a few other items bringing the part count down to 145.
After a couple of hours of work.

I'll be loosely following this pattern. I always prefer to go with artistic license and do whatever I feel like.
Base coat has been applied.

With just 3 weeks to go I guess it's time for updates and getting on with things. Progress on the KHD 3-tonner in its painting sub-assemblies
and dry-fitted
Breakable things like wing mirrors and turn signals left off till final assembly.

I thought we were using the blue Lego block ribbon for this campaign's ribbon. I noticed we have something different.
Thanks,
Don "Lakota"

Hmmm.... Not sure where that came from. I set the logo to the blue lego one at the beginning of the campaign. From what I know, it is only the admins that can change it. The same happened to the 500+ campaign logo.

I finally found time to apply the base camo pattern. I just need to apply the ambush pattern.

Thanks for the comment. Wasn't easy. I scanned the sheet from the instructions and scaled it up to the correct size. Then printed a few copies. I cut out the sections and then traced it onto masking tape. I then applied the patterns and sprayed one color at a time.
I'll make new masks to spray the spots to finish the ambush pattern.
