I've finally been able to get some bench time - this time a bit more on the 37mm ATG. Talk about fiddley!! I had to search a few times for teeny tiny pieces that decided to warp to the floor or behind something on my desk.

Pretty much all that is left is assembling the wheel/tires and touch-up paint, assembling the trails, frame, and gun shield, and some detail painting on a couple of things.

Holy 37mm ATG flash-back! Progress looks great, Mike. Though it looks harmless enough in that photo, you and I both know better.😅

Very Nice David. I am actually tempted to get this kit myself.

Mike, great to see some more being done. By your comments, I guess you will be happy to see this one done..

Looking very good David. I can't wait to see those AA ratchet straps installed. I have used them on several kits and I think you will like the end result. Once you get the ammo cans secured consider shock cords to hold the driver's weapon in place. I used solder on mine. Ended up fairly convincing. This has been an enjoyable build to watch.

The QuadBike looks pretty cool, David! Let's see those straps attached!

A picture is worth a thousand words,Mike and those subassemblies show the miriad of tiny details you managed to fix and align!
Well done!

I have a question regarding the Bronco workable tracks.
What’s the best glue to use to assemble the pins.? Any other advice?
With a little luck i might finally have a picture update in a week or two.

I presume they are like Model Kasten ones and you push the pin in the hole on each side of the link. Kasten click in place, but I am not sure about Bronco's. If they are held by a pin each side, I would push the pin in, clip off the sprue holding the pin, then use a TOUCH of Tamiya extra thin - wipe the applicator brush on the side of the bottle a couple of times, then just touch where the pin is - do not flood it. You only want the pins to hold after all.

After applying the glue make sure the tracks articulate. Sometimes it pays to wiggle the track links back and forward for a few seconds to make sure the glue hasn't travelled to the link join.

I can't answer your question,Marc...
Although I'm a big fan of Bronco kits, I have to admit I've never dealt with Bronco's workable tracks sofar.

Some progress on my build(Kdo.Ger.40 with towing truck from Bulgarian Royal Army):

Based on a picture and a sketch from Werner Müller's splendid book "Guns,Radars and Telemeters of the Heavy Flak" I've built the operations switchboard(Betriebsschaltkasten):

In operation, the switchboard was placed upon the battery cage:

I also built an open storage case for one of the 12x60 binoculars(I need to build another 3 cases, but they'll be closed, so less hassle):

Paid some attention to the load bed of the MB 4500S truck:
-Increased the height of its forward wall, where two cable reels were mounted,
-built 2 benches for Kdo.Ger.40 crew,
-added rails, on which the telemeter case slides in and out of the load bed,
-made a cutout in the rear wall:

And here is the combo:

I’ve put a dab of glue at the end of the pin and then push it in.

The ATG's carriage is done - wheels installed and dried "true." I just need to paint the wooden rods on each trail and (still) need to attach the shield to the gun (I really do NOT like this part....).

Nice work everybody. I had to wait for After Market, a metal barrel, so I can continue the build of the gun. Bronco piece is just not nice. Still a long way to go, but such a nice piece of metal really motivates me.
Until next time, when there is progress.

I totally agree. That step brings out the AT Gun's true fiddliness!

I'm calling this little pop-gun done. Turns out the shield wasn't as worrisome as I thought.

Nice tiny gun, Mike! Really well done!

Thanks also for your comments on my project, gentlemen!

It's abnormally hot here in the last 3 weeks, so modelbuilding was reduced to mere couple of hours a week, in the late night hours...

Still I managed to build the Kabelwagen, the Gestell 38 and 3 closed transport cases for the binoculars:

I had to rearrange the load bed of the MB L4500S truck to fit all accessories:

Construction(less some tarps) is finished, next will be priming and painting,

The 'pop gun' looks very nice Mike. Glad the shield was easier than you thought.

Angel, you get more done in a few hours than I do in a few weeks! This one is just getting better and better.

The KV-85 is done. I plan to stick it on a base, but for now, I'm calling it done.

I'm going to do a post soon on my first 5 completed 1/35 builds. Of my first 5 this was my favorite one to build. It's a great kit. The tracks are awesome. It makes me want to do another KV series Bronco kit.

Good work Phil.
Those tracks have the pins for the separate links?
I did my first set for panzer III and thought they were easier to do then they looked.
