Thanks guys. Colors are 'US Dark Green' and 'Loam Beige' both Vallejo Model Air. It's loosely based off this scheme I found on Tanks Encyclopedia:
I have the cannon instead of the MG so it's not completely accurate, but I was looking for something relatively simple, with no extra decals needed, so I went with it. The kit provided schemes certainly look nice, but I don't have the paints on hand, and I didn't want to spend forever masking for 4-5 different colors.

Hello!
Hope everyone is staying safe and getting in some good bench time. I decided to take advantage of this campaign to finally finish one of the longest shelf queens in my collection; the 1/35 Trumpeter E-25.
I built this OOB a few years back, and then decided to modify it with the Bold Division E-25 Moskito resin upgrade kit. I completed the rebuild with the BD upgrade and also included some 'mystery' brackets from Paper Panzer Productions. I made it to the painting process but shelved the tank because I kept having issues with the metal barrel easily breaking off from the mantlet.
Theres a few techniques that I want to experiment with, so this tank will become a bit of a test dummy.
The first step was to remove all of the paint so I could make some further modifications and corrections. I let the tank sit in Simple Green for several hours and scrubbed away the layers of paint with an old toothbrush. The Simple Green worked like a charm and it was much easier than I expected.
The resin roof from the Bold Division upgrade didn't fit quite right, and I wasn't happy with my previous putty work so I removed all of the previous putty. I used Tamiya epoxy to rework the weld lines around the roof and superstructure. The resin parts had some pretty pronounced weld marks so I made the epoxy weld lines more aggressive to match it. I wanted to experiment with the epoxy for use as zimmerit on a different upcoming build, so Im glad I did it.
Next, I replaced the plastic fenders with PE fenders so I could bend them up a bit. I also added some smoke dischargers from my spares box. I have a few lengths of T-34 track that I plan on adding to the front slopes to provide that extra protection.
I should be starting the painting process this weekend if time allows.
Take care!

Interesting project Shawn.
If the barrel comes away again, there are two ways you might be able to go:
1) Drill the mantelet opening deeper for the barrel to go in a bit further. The gun length will be shortened, but it is a Paper Panzer after all - who is going to argue placement!
2) A bit trickier - drill a hole in the barrel end and a corresponding one in the mantelet. Glue a length of aluminium tube (or a length of thick sprue) in the barrel end and push that into the hole in the mantelet for a stronger connection.

Small update, got one of the suspension assembly's done and mounted up, as well as the tail skid and the storage box on the side
Seems like a constant battle of masking, touching up, masking, on and on. But it's coming along.

Hey Guys,
Great looking work here so far. Finally made a little progress on my AMX-13. Have the tracks done, upgraded the fenders and stow bins with some sheet styrene and PE and began work texturing the cast parts of the turret.

I have managed to get the basic building done on my 38(t).

Originally I was going to do this tank in Bulgarian markings and Angel sent me some great pics of the tank that I was going to do. I was too far along to make the modifications to do that tank so I will do it in the kit Slovak National Uprising markings. It seemed a shame to waste the great pictures that Angel sent so I started a second kit to do in those markings.
It is great to see the variety of subjects that are being made for this campaign, keep up the great work.

Great build(s), Cam!
Looking at your splendid Slovak National Uprising vehicle and the started Bulgarian Praga #62 made me realize I have a soft spot for this beautiful Czech tank.
Keep up the good work,

Great work Cam. Lovely little beasties.
I too gratefully received the info from Angel and will do a Bulgarian 38(t) in the future - maybe for a 38(t) or 'Light Tank' group build I may propose for 2021. (2021 / 38 = 53.18. Rounded down = 53... as a fraction 53/1 which in reverse is 1/35 being the scale I'll build... convoluted hey - )

Some work done and a pic of where I am at with the Chally 1 and E100.
I will be working on both these at the same time on the painting stage to simplify things and then crack on with the detailing once paint is on.
Chally will be my old 42 C/S from my Germany posting. A standard UK NATO black cam over the base green. All external stowage bins will have a scratch cover done for them and a cam net will be in the turret front stowage basket to give its cover some lift.
That will be it for the stowage on the Chally as we always kept ours pretty clean externally. Have also ordered some accurate armour decals for the various TAC signs and C/S plate for the turret rear.
Now, the E100. I have given that a base of NATO green and that will also get NATO black but I am going to add another darker green and also a small amount of brown to certain areas to give that a 4 tone cam job. A few of the side skirts will be added and then just highlighting and detail painting to finish it off. I want this one to look like its been used and seen some action, but not overkilled..... enjoy and stay safe

A lot of armour plate in those builds John. Look great so far.
I just love the look of the Challenger - Brutally elegant, if that can be said.
Abrams looks outright aggressive in a street brawler kind of way. The Leopard is typical German - all business and no nonsense.
The Challenger has that little element of British reservedness upfront but with the power at the ready- the James Bond of the tank world.
It really tempts me to finish the weathering on my Gulf War Chally 1.

I agree Peter, I actually prefer the Chally 1 to the Chally 2, Chally 1 just has that sleek lethal look about it, and its such a screaming fun ride at full speed cross country. We managed to get air on several occasions when in Germany when going over medium knife edges or dips cross country.... and super smooth landings... happy days lol.

Weathering on the Renault is mostly done. Never done thick mud before and I'm not brave enough to try it out on this one, so it'll just be dusty with a little dried mud.
Now for the most boring part of all, building the treads.

WHIMP!!!
I hear you. It looks so good now, I would not want to hide it under mud either.
Welcome aboard Ezra. I hope the strip back and repaint goes well for you.

I know I know, maybe some day I'll be brave enough to try it. Gonna have to be a less time consuming model... and probably 1/35 so I wouldn't need pounds of mud

There we go 2 years of work finally finished. I'm happy with the results. I'm 14 and have been modeling for 3 years and building armor for 1 so I'm fairly happy.

Very nicely done too Ezra. Better than I did at your age for sure!!! Yes, one to be proud of.
May I make one suggestion, the charring at the end of the barrel didn't really occur - it is a fad that some modellers copied from others. That is okay in itself, as it looks cool, but the inside of the barrel would not be Dunkelgelb, especially with the outside like that.
A quick fix to paint the inside and really set off what is a very nice save on your model.
Thanks for joining in. I look forward to seeing you in some other group builds in future.
