I am in, too.
I'll make a diorama depicting a Nashorn detailed with Verlinden detail parts (courtesy of Blade48mrd) taking up its position in a rural farm in Russia.

Yo! Count me in too.
Got a Italeri M36B1 that needs to be done and a early jagdpanther that could get done in that time frame if I get lucky! Dioramas are OK,right?

Now I'm a OD kind of guy, and dont realy know that much about Axis vehicles. So if you could fill me in on just what the Ferdinand is, I or one of the other members could give you an answer if it qualifies as a Tank Destroyer or not.
Either way, it would sure be great to have you along on this build!

Hi Garry,
It's official designation was Sturmgeschütz mit 8.8 cm PaK 43/2 (SdKfz.184) , although it was better known as the Jagd Panzer Ferdinand. It first used in the Battle of Kursk. After the battle of Kursk, the remaining lot were re-designed and renamed "Elefant".
The German Jagd Panzers were a purpose designed tank killer that became one of the most potent armoured combat vehicles of World War 2. They included the Jagdpanzer IV, the Jagdpanther, the little Hetzer, the massive Jagdtiger and the Ferdinand.
Below is a pic...
Cheers

Hi Garry,
That's not my kit. I think that's a Dragon 1/72, I plan to build the 1/35 version. I have yet to start building my kit. This is also my first campaign...
Thanks

Howdy Scott!
I see you changed your mind and are now going with the M10 Duckbill. Good choice, I want to build that one myself! The M10 series of TD's are my favorites.

You are correct (quote taken from first post in this thread)."The Tank Destroyers campaign is for us to study and build only the Self Propelled Tracked Tank Destroyers of the WW-2 era."

Hi Jeroen!
Glad you decided to join us! Yes you will have to go to the main campaign page and sign up. When you get to the page just scroll down until you find Tank Destroyers, click on that and it will take you to the TD's campaign page. Once there just click on the enlist button and your all set! And welcome aboard!
Cheers,
Garry

Some Sturmgeshutz would qaulify As long as it's the long 75mm w/muzzle brake The short 75mm howitzer and the 105mm howitzer were mainly assault guns The ones with the long 75mm were used as a TD most of the time
If I can find time to crank out a kit I will join in Plate's a bit full now
