Started on my AFV Club Achilles IIc, hull interior completed working on the boggies. This is one nice build (so far).
My other campaigns have hit the back shelf as I'm now refinding the pleasure of building armour after a long break of building just aircraft.

Can anyone tell me what clothing Canadian tank destroyer crew would be wearing in 1945, and what figures are suitable out there?

Ciao

If it is early 1945, the long 1-piece pixie suits....In-action figures are a bit hard to find, I know Hobbyfan has a M10 crew (in action) but that one is American. Here are some examples of figs you could use in a non-action scene:

firestorm productions no. FST079 ( - don't know if they're half figures or not? they look cool though)

ultracast no. UT35018, UT35019, UT35020

Later in 1945....well I'm not an expert but I think tankers in their normal uniforms, or maybe with leather jackets,

ultracast no. UT35032, UT35033

Hope this is of some help

The Tamiya M10 is progessing rapidly. I will have more than enough time to get some more started and finished as well. Pak40, and SU100. Gotta go. Targets are popping up fast. Q-out.

Matthew, great to hear you're going fast but remember the PAK40 isn't a tracked tank destroyer, so you can't use it as entry. The SU100 is ok!

Go for it!

Great to hear so many have started already! You make me proud

I have about 3/4 of one side of tracks assembled for my Jagdpanzer and that's it! :-)

So again, I would like to know (sorry Sabot, I'm stupid) where should onep sot their - in progress- stuff? DRAGONWAGON posted is in this forum. I had had asked this question previously (here's where you come in, Sabot) about where to post these & well I was still left wondering which forum to post them in? Here is the thread I am referring to:

https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/50108&page=1

You upload the photos into your own personal gallery. The campaign gallery/album is for your completed entry. You can display the in progress images into a post here in the Campaign Central Command forum or into the Armor/AFV forum or even into the Rivet Review Board if you desire some feedback on your work.

I just finished painting the lower hull section this afternoon. Dry time I busied myself by building the upper hull section. Dry fitted tonight and it looks like it's gonna fit despite my "itchy dremel finger". It's so much better when things go my way for a change
This campaign has put me in the mind to get a camera. I've tried to borrow but nobody will let me near one. Got a dremel tool tho' and an Etch Mate. I'm liking PE a lot better these days.

I just signed up for this campaign, so I haven't really started yet beyond opening the box. First, I'll be building Tamiya's 1/48 Hetzer. When that's done, I have a Marder III in 1/72 scale (UM) as well as another two in 1/35. (Tamiya and Italeri)

Well, I'd like to finish them all, so i'll try my hardest. Half of those kits have been sitting on the shelf for a while now, so this is a good incentive to get them done. The two Tamiya kits should (hopefully) go together fairly quickly, but the other two I'm not sure of.

Right now, I'm also working on PST's KV-1B for the Miniature Magic campaign. Between the two campaigns, a new deck, and a summer job, I intend to stay pretty busy!

Thanks for the words of support!

Welcome aboard Chris. You don't have to jam all those kits for one campaign. There is always some sort of campaign going on here. It may be less stress just to relax, build the kit you are most interested in, save the others for a few months when it will qualify for another campaign. You don't know how many times I jam in a couple of kits only to find out I could have used it in the very next campaign. Now I have to go buy a new kit or sit out. Just a suggestion

Well I opened the box on my CMK Panzerjager Pz 35t/R-2 Tacam This looks like it will be a "fun" kit to build It's a Romanian TD based on the Czech 35t light tank It's armed with a Russian 76mm
The bad thing of the kit is no interior I will have my work cutout on this kit Hopefully I can get some more info on it and maybe some interior parts

Pardon me for my miccommunication. I had originally meant to say that I have those Marder III's for when I finish my Hetzer. I didn't neccessarily mean I was definitely going to build them all. On the other hand, I may find a lot of time over the summer and crank them all out. Who knows!

Thanks!

Sweet. Braille scale is the way to go! Nice job! Remember, just because it isn't completely right doesn't mean the world has to end. This is all just for fun!

BTW, what kits did you use as the base for your conversions?

My DML Jagdpanzer IV A-O is on the bench and assembly is going along nicely. The kit fits well together so far and the detail is very good. I will post some pictures soon.

Cracked the box on the Elefant along with the zimmerit, barrel and tracks. Shouldn't take me too long to build it once my Cougar is wrapped. I am hoping to start in about a week.

I have not started building yet, but I have gathered my Dragon Nashorn (the old one) kit and accessory sets and I am planning on taking it with me on vacation at the beach later this week.

I just finished butchering my disruptive color scheme. Started splattering to begin with and I got that under control and when I hit the Zimm it would bleed(pressure too high?) I was able to cover some with the second color but there is one section that is going to have some very poor lighting in the posted photos Sorry in advance.
Waiting on some Fruils and wonder how to make towcables? They weren't with the kit. How would you make that "guide" inside the loop at the end?
The good news tho', I got a Hetzer and a JagdPanther off of Ebay so I'll get a do over. I'm getting more confidence with an airbrush despite this setback. It'll be alright.

Good for you guys, as for me I'm now in a rut....I can't attach the roadwheels in my Elefant because I still need to figure out the ground countour. I plan to depict the kit on uneven ground...Good luck guys

Cheers
