Miniart Limited are about to release their latest Soviet AFV in 1/35th scale.
A number of different sources are now listing:

35038 - SU-76M SOVIET SELF-PROPELLED GUN with CREW as being available in the next few weeks. Few details are currently available on this very welcome new release but it will consist of some 600+ parts and include five figures (probably 35037 - Soviet Self-propelled Gun Crew). I'll be checking with the company in the next day or two to get a hold of images to do a more complete report. In the meantime...

I'll second that motion. If the kit is even halfway decent, it will find a spot on my workbench. Let's see if the "few weeks" release time really is just a few weeks!

This is good news. I have not yet build build any of their AFV kits, but if it is the same quality as the Miniart figure sets we are in for treat. As already pointed out the "few weeks" is hopefully just that. A good kit to start the new year with Thanks for the update, Jim

I wonder if someone would bother to do a comparison review of the two kits when this one's out. Most likely, a comparison won't be necessary, but I think it would be a blast anyway.

that would be like comparing the F40 with an Opel Kadett....

Well on the Subject I built the Dragon one or was it an Allen kit . Shameless pictures. So this should be a walk in the park This will be a great kit to build. But I still have a warm spot in my heart for my 3 month Suka Now if you want "to Build a Model" do the Dragon one

IIRC they are also releasing a german crew for this. Does it mean they'll come out with (or have come out) with an SU 76(r) as well?
JAN 04, 2008 - 02:45 PM
Yes, there will be an SU 76 (r).

First of all, nice SU-76 sgtreef! Second, not having any material on this vehicle, what's the difference between the (M) and the (r) models? Thanks guys.
JAN 05, 2008 - 03:37 AM
(r) is the German designation for the captured vehicle. Cheers, Christophe
