Miniart have sent us images of their latest “In Progress” kit - A Red Army Lend Lease Valentine.

The kit 35092 Valentine Mk.Iv Red Army W/Crew comes with their set 35017 Soviet Tank Crew At Work.

I don’t know if the same mk of Valentine was used by the British Army but I imagine it won’t be too long until Miniart bring out a British version with perhaps their British Tank Crew set.

No word on a release date yet so watch this space or the Miniart website (LINK) for more details.

That's disappointing if there will be no Archer, such an unusual vehicle. Time will tell. Al

To clear up some misunderstandings. First of all, to stop the rumor mill in its tracks. These will be completely NEW toolings - not repops, not reboxings, completely new. Secondly, i've been involved with this (on the fringes) for around a year. The intention is to produce the ENTIRE series of Valentines (and Variants) so YES, the Archer is part of those plans. Whether the bridgelayer will be as well is open to speculation, but the Bishop certainly is being considered. As always it very much depends on the success of this release...

Very nice. With all the kits in the stash I can be as patient as an oyster If it takes a year or more to come with these that's ok by me. We just need to buy enough of the earlier releases to convince MiniArt to build the entire series.

Goes to show that if a kit is crappy enough, I won't buy it (refering to the old VM kit). Hold your breath long enough, someone will pick up the pieces and bring you a much better option... (if you live long enough that is ). HURRAY for Miniart! (I've a feeling that you tool your nice kits somewhere in Asia...) Jim, are you going to tell us or not?? LOL BISHOP, ARCHER bring them on! But the new Valentine MUST be realised. AND, would the suspensions deviate to a A9 / A10 Cruiser??? Forgive my ignorance, but I thought the vehicles shared similar suspensions as the Valentine... Here's time for a new wish list - Vickers Mark IV light tank please. AND, OH PLEASE - a BRAND NEW UPDATED CRUSADER I/II/III!??? I promise to hold my breath again. Cheers, Lawrence

Hey Lawrence, Same suspension and similar chassis as the A9/A10 and Valentine were built by Vickers-Armstrong. Perhaps Bronco will backdate their A13 Cruiser Mk. III/IV with the early style suspension. We can only hope !! Cheers jjumbo

Vladamir the Valentine release is good news indeed ...but do you know of any news regarding the MiniArt YA12 ? It has been listed as 'soon 'for a couple of years now. Cheers Doug.

ARCHER, it's too late now ... you wrote it down !! I'm now counting the sleeps 'til its release !! Miniart rules !

I'm not going to spare any blushes here, but Darren Baker has been one of the major contributors to this project by the sterling work he did at Bovington clambering over the beasts to get photos and measurements. With that in mind, i've mailed MiniArt requesting that he gets an example of the kit - which is the least he should get considering the work he put in.
