Rangers in Somalia

BUILDING:
The building was constructed from foam core board. I cut the pieces out with a sharp X-acto knife and glued them together with the hot glue gun. I wanted a texture on the building to simulate rough concrete. I used the plaster cloth to try and accomplish this. I had covered the entire building with the cloth and set aside to dry. Once the cloth was dry, I then used Woodland Scenic's foam putty over the plaster cloth to give it that rough grainy look.

GROUND WORK:
Once the building was dried, I glued it down to the base. I mixed up some Sculptamold, Hudson & Allen's Ground Material, and Elmer's glue and spread this all over the base. Once the mixture started to set, I took some old tires and pressed in the tire marks. I took some Elmer's Glue and laid some Custom Dioramic's rubble material around the building. Once the glue started to set, I diluted the Elmer's with water and poured this in the cracks and crevices of the rubble to give a better bond. Once the groundwork and building was dry, it is ready for painting.
