Rangers in Somalia

PAINTING:
After masking off the exposed base and border, I sprayed the ground work and building with Polly Scale Dirt. I then used Polly Scale Dirty White for the next coat on the building. Next, I lightly misted Model Master Acrly's US Army/Marines Desert Sand over the ground and up to the bottom of the building. I then misted MMA's Sand on the base to bring out the tire marks. I then used Winsor & Newton's Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre, and Titanium White oil paints to dry brush the highlights on the ground and rubble and the streaks and weathering on the building. After that was down, I did a very light wash of MMA's Burnt Sienna and Raw Umber over the entire base. Once the wash was dry a generous dusting with pastels was done and I sealed the finished product with MMA's clear flat.
