Cleaning the Iwata hp-cs


B: Using a brush. insert the brush into the needle way, and clean in circular motions.


Then, insert the brush through the paint cup and clean the needle way from this angle, again in circular motions.



Next, dip a Q-tip in thinner, and clean the inside of the paint cup (yep, again, in circular motions).



Now, cleaning of the nozzle and the head cap. Again, you can use either pipe cleaner or brush, and same caution in regards to the pipe cleaner should be exercised.

A: Using a pipe-cleaner. Insert it into the nozzle, and rub it from within, as shown by the arrows.



B: Using a brush. Insert the brush, and rub the nozzle from within in circular and going and out-going motions, as shown by the arrows

A very thorough 'how to' here... I've had my CS for about 2 years, but how do you remove the nozzle? I didn't even know it could be done

just pull it out gently. if it's stuck, gently and carefully tilt it to the sides and pull.
