Equipment - SU85 and Figures
The tank I used is a DML SU85m . The figures I have used are Tamiya Russian assult infantry and a figure from Tamiya German assualt infantry with winter gear, Academy German SS infantry, Russia 1944, and a couple of figures from DML German sixth army(Stalingrad 1942-43). I used a DML 8.8cm raktenwerfer 43 pupchen w/crew.
The base color I am using is model master 2129 Russian Armor green Its not an olive color its has more of a blueish hue, but it resembles the actual pics of real soviet armor I have seen.

Once you've put so much work and effort into a complete diorama how do you make it accessible 360 degrees?? Unless you have a display area that is on a pedistal there typically is a wall that blocks your view. You can try a lazy susan device, but that gets difficult with bigger dioramas (not to mention expensive), plus the more a diorama is moved the greater the chances that something will break on it.

One solution - Mirrors

There are number of different ways to implement an mirrored display. You can build a box with one or two walls that are mirrors. You can mount the mirror on a back wall and display your diorama in front of it. You can use a prebuilt display case like you see in jewelry stores. Here are the results, you can easily see how simply placing the diorama in front of a mirror you get to view much of the action very easily.
The images at the bottom are the mirror images.
Thank You
Before you move on to see the great photos of this diorama, Kevin asked me to include a Thank You paragraph.
Kevin would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who supported, encouraged, contributed feedback, and inspired him to build his diorama.
A special mention to Jim Starkweather for creating and maintaining Armorama.com, hats off to a great site.
Dedication
I would like to dedicate this piece of art to my son Joshua. It was his curiosity and desire that rekindled my interest in modeling. This diorama is dedicated in loving memory of Joshua.

From the very first posts regarding this diorama, we have all been drawn to it, wanting more and more. Ever anxious for the next picture, the next post, the next surprise that Kevin had to offer us. And now its finished. And can i just say WOW!! This is truely an amazing work of art. The detail and vision of this piece is one that is rarely seen. I believe that it is truely a prize winning diorama. I myself had the great pleasure of seeing the diorama in person a few weekends ago. And i would like to let all of you know, as great as the pictures are, they do not do the piece justice. The camera definately does not capture the full effect of the diorama. I was in awe. Excellent work Kevin. I love ya and am very proud of you.
