Coming in out of the Cold

I really enjoyed this entire project. Each component individually is quite recommended. The Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H w/Schurzen from Dragon Models is great little kit that was easy to work, with plenty of details. There are the usual setbacks in this scale from this manufacturer but I feel it was not too bad a kit to have a go at. The Dutch Farm Stable from Reality In Scale was another fun piece to work with. I feel I enjoyed this more because it was out of the box, ready to go. The cast, albeit not perfect, was detailed enough to help make the scene I was looking for and was easy and fun to paint. Finally, I really like the Precision Ice and Snow system. The process was simple and the application and instructions were easy to follow. I feel the results were excellent, even at the hands of this snow-driven novice. I found the product became easier to use the deeper into the project I went. I can see the almost limitless possibilities of the Ice and Snow system and look forward to using it more in the near future.
