Japp, trust me. Take a look at my LAV III. you'll see. The one from Barrel is of machine aluminum. The one from Australia is cast. Not very nice. Maybe they've changed but I doubt it.

From the pics it does look like a nicer product. the one from Aus. is brass made from a lost wax type of casting, lots of clean up.

I concur....the Barrel Depot barrel is very nice....make sure you order the fluted one...they make both the fluted and non-fluted 25 mm barrels.
