Thanks for the replies,

Yes Matt I have received my barrel from Australia, but I appreciate the offer

cheers

From Australia??? I thought you were getting the one from Barrel Depot in Canada?? I had first ordered the one from australia but it is nothing compared to te one from Barrel depot. Trust me on this one. The difference is like day and night.

ok ok sheesh, i'm trusting you on this one, just ordered the barrel depot one.

cheers

Japp, trust me. Take a look at my LAV III. you'll see. The one from Barrel is of machine aluminum. The one from Australia is cast. Not very nice. Maybe they've changed but I doubt it.

From the pics it does look like a nicer product. the one from Aus. is brass made from a lost wax type of casting, lots of clean up.

Curious, whats a Japp?

cheers

I concur....the Barrel Depot barrel is very nice....make sure you order the fluted one...they make both the fluted and non-fluted 25 mm barrels.

Got the base coat on today, there is a little light at the end of the tunnel!

Started with a coat of Nato black, then Nato green, then highlights with a little buff mixed in.

cheers

OUT FREAKIN STANDING RICK! Hurry up and get her done!

I want one now, but after spending as much as I have on two Strykers with Slat armor, it will be like pulling teeth from my wife to let me get one. maybe for christmas this year i can convince my wife to get me Milo's kit when he releases it.
