Hi Nick,
The Length, Width and Height etc are decals from Archers I adapted, and the other markings were done with Charcoal White pencil which gives the appearance of chalk, and just written on. Nice thing is, if you cock them up just rub them off with a rubber lol, ,lol.
Glad you enjoyed the build.

Hey Al,
Nicely done, a superb pair of "twins" !!
BTW, have you been able to get any further info on the North Shore Regiment markings?
Cheers

Hi John,
As far as I can tell the error in The Canadian Soldier relates to the 4th, 5th and 5th Brigades which should have read 7th, 8th and 9th Canadian Infantry Brigades. The unit numbers ie 60, 61 and 62 seem to be correct and standard throughout each Infantry Division. So unless someone produces an alternative and documented organisational chart I'll go with what I have.
Fog of war and all that.
I checked with the Juno Beach Association and this is what Doug said.

Hi Al,
The North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment was part of the 8th Canadian Infantry Brigade on June 6/1944.
I'm don't have the information on the HQ and Defense Platoon number.

Hi Guys,
Firstly my apologies to anyone who has looked at this post in the last 3/4 weeks and found only 'Image Deleted or Moved'. I re-arranged my photobucket account and cut the link to all the pics.
I've re-instated them all bar one, lost in the reorganisation no doubt.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
