Who would be interested in campaign focused on M4 Sherman tank.
All vehicles based on Sherman components (recovery, SPG, GMC, prime movers, etc) would be allowed.
No specific time frames or country so there would be a lot of options.
Start date: April 4th. Ends: September 1st

Sounds like a fantastic idea, Marcin! Incredible that we have not had one of those before.

I am in!

I think I am... but pls don't tell anyone.

Campaign is the best way to start a model and finish it in reasonable time (and not starting another in the meantime).

Besides I have 4 Shermans in my stash si it would be a good reason to reduce that quantity.

I've already enlisted to 3 other campaigns in this time period... so what?
Count me in!!
I'm focused on German machines, but I think I should build something else sometimes .

Will the Firefly allowed?

BTW - Marcin, have you joined Anonymous Campaignoholics already?

@Andrzej, I haven't joined yet and I won't beacuse I don't want to quit that habit, besides it's harmless, unless you think about my wallet getting thinner and thinner and all those solvents we use in our hobby.
And of course Firefly is allowed.

I'm glad you all are interested in taking part in this campaign.

Hmmm.... can I use the M4A3E8 I'm going to use for the Borders Of The Fatherland campaign (as long as I do it in your timeframe)

No... I'll go in with an M51 Super Sherman that's been sitting in the stash, looking at me with those shiny styrene eyes and crying "build me, please build me!" A couple more months won't hurt it. I mean... styrene doesn't go bad or anything, does it?

Lewis, styrene in worst case starts to eat people and damage buildings... or maybe it was Godzilla ... anyway - I have few boxes in my stash since over a year and none of them attacked me (yet)

Hello Marcin!
I'm interested too (if 1:72 scale is allowed). A hope to finish one from the half dozen Dragon Shermans I bought...
Cheers,
Peter

I'd like to know what scales are allowed as well, because the time frame would allow me to get a 1/16 Sherman done...

Any scale is allowed so either small and big shermans are welcomed

Marcin, sounds like there are already enough participants. This is a sure winner of a campaign. Great initiative

Maybe you should already submit it to the administrators?

Definitely would be interested. May do a M32 or M40, or how about a M4A3E8 or an early M4A1, Mid M4A1 or a ARV MKI or a .......
Ahhhh, decisions, decisions....

For sure we have enough members willing to join to submit the proposal. I'll do that asap.

Thank you all for support and removing dust from you Sherman kits.

I'll have to buy a new kit... My wife will kill me... again ...
What to do, I'm addicted too...
I'm thinking about Sherman M4A3E8 Thunderbolt VII (Dragon kit) or some Firefly...

Andrzej, ya just gotta hate it when that happens... I'm not sure which method of death is the worst... the dagger-eyes or the poison-tongue! Oh, it's hell being a plastic-addict.

Marcin, I agree with Jesper... great idea. Despite what many people have said, Shermies still seem to be one of the all-time favorite tanks.

Martin, Yeah, but will we get used to being dead again?!

Well... last three times she used a dagger, erlier it was a gun... now I'm kit making zombie... undead enamel-thinner-breathing abomination .
Must... make... model...

It's not so bad now but my modelling happy years will end at the begining of May - I'll have little soldier (boy or a girl, I don't know yet) at home so I'll have to be responsible father . Loud guitar playing will also have to stop, at least for a while .
