I'm sure these aren't store-bought, commercially available tress, but are hand made by the modeller. Usually, these are custom made for each diorama.

Here's what I did...if you go to the search box in the top right, click the little button marked armorama.com to search just here and not throughout all of google, type in "building trees" or "making trees" and click "search", you'll possibly find some more articles from just Armorama on how to do this.

I figured someone had to make some custom stuff, but I thought it would be pretty expensive. Have you ever ordered from them or used their product? They look really nice.... I wonder about their product line for 1/35th scale military models...

look at a company called super trees thare made for train layouts and some of the best i have seen
