Hi. I have bought a revell T-34/76 model of 1940.
Revell says that i should paint it with dark green matt code 68.

Is this collor right . Because the real tank i saw at the Warsaw army museum is more close to gray than green .

Has anyone got a idea ?

Soviet tanks were painted a dark green usually referred to as 4BO, which came in lots of variations, so almost any dark green will do.

The museum tank will have been repainted in whatever paint was handy and has probably stood out in all weathers for years which will have deteriorated the paint far more than on a wartime tank which would have had a life usually measured in months.

Here's another thing you can do.

Three-colour scheme, 4BO "protective" green, dark brown and earth, standard from 1940, although they didn't always have paint. Have fun.
