Hi Folks. well this is only my 3rd go at PE and so far I have done the cockpit and bow section of my Italeri DUKW. I think it has come out alright but would like comments from you. I am building it as a wreaker version as used by the Australian 7th division in the Pacific.

Now all I have to do is see whether the picture thingy will work for me.

What a nice built you have done on the DUKW with Eduard PE parts! I've got the same kit and the PE parts too but yet to start it. I would like to know how long did it take to finish the PE parts on the kit?

Nice job sofar with the Eduart Etching, I like the etch wood pattern in the drivers area

To everyone else thanks for the comments. The PE took me about 15 hours over 5 days and is not finished yet.

Its comments like this that put me off PE. Was the fotoetched wood engraved included in the set or is this something extra again. Can sheets of this wood grain be bought somewhere?

don't let this comment put you off as I am not as quick as able bodied modelers at doing this detail work. The sheets of 'wood' were part of the Eduard PE set. Where you could buy sheets of it or even if it is availiable seperately I am not sure.
