Hi all,
I started Buffalo build. Model look good on first view.
I build suspension. Here is small problem. Because producer make of bad casting block,
many parts included air bubbles. All parts good fit.
Next step: Interior
I add on lower hull interior. Three seat are a good, Three I must small repair. Now I must do
many details.
Next step: Wheels
I try fit rear wheels and first wheel is wrong, Because rear site of rear wheel is very thin.
I look on wheels and find big problem.
Buffalo have the same tyre as HEMTT 16.00 R20. Vajra wheels is bad because is small.
Pattern: 16 inch = 406.60 mm = (1/35) 11.61 mm
disc : the same as Stryker ⌀20 inch
Wheel : ⌀ 52 inch = 37.73 mm (1/35)
Here is comparison photos.
Stryker disc.
My HEMTT wheel. I have no deep pattern as new wheels.
Sorry on my bad English.
Miloslav

Sorry yours had bubbles. None of my parts had any issues. It appears from your photos that you have inadvertantly cut off the bumper mount from the front of the vehicle. That was not a casting block - it was intended to fit into the slot in the rear of the bumper. Also, if you take a look at a thread I started a few days ago, you may be able to correct a few other small mistakes before it's too late...

For Buffalo I don't have reference pictures. I have only photos from web.

Excellent job on the improved wheels. Those really give the vehicle the massive look it should have.
Check your mail - I've finally sorted through all of my newest images . It's slow but they're being sent four at a time as they're so large.
You'll like them

Very nice WIP Milo, it's great to see how modern armor has caught the interest of manufacturers.
How did you get the kit ? If I'm correct Vajra are not yet carried by any retail dealers.
Thanks for sharing your work.

There are three of them right now on ebay at $55.00 below retail. I believe they are "Buy it now" auctions. Miroslav, great work! It looks as if you put those photos to good use.

I buy Buffalo from one shop in Prague. This shop offer Buffalo on very big price 6000,- or 6500,- CZK = 320-350 USD.
This is astronomic price.

For those interested in the Canadian version of the Buffalo used in Afghanistan.....the Vajra Miniatures' kit includes both early and later version parts for the lower front and rear towing pintles, the rear ladder railings, the manipulator arm camera system, and the manipulator arm crutch.
The Canadian version has all the later version modifications.....except for the camera system....it uses the earlier style of camera. As Miloslav has included on his Buffalo...the Canadian version also has the T style antenna mounts.
