Plastic barriers are not used for non-pernamant check points/road blocks either. A temporary road block will have only wire, cones, and maybe a few sawhorse type folding road barriers. The plastic barriers are filled with water or sand to hold them in place.

As Gino has pointed out the Iraqis didn't have ERA shod T72s. In addition you also have T80 wheels on the tank (?). I do admire your moxy though
