Beautiful Olivier - it might look even better with some mud piled on top of the bogies, fallen from the tracks, and maybe some fiercer rusting of the exhaust.

I'm working on the diorama : with a trench, bomb holes and a litle mud (because it was at the battle of "moulin de laffaut" in april and on the pics I have, the ground is dry.)

my advice is replace that tree that looks like like pastic(sorry) with a tapered stick with a broken end. since threre was dirt flying everywhere on the battlefeilds of ww1, you dont really need a tree base.

Something I have found that makes a good leafless tree is the Fusia plant when it is cut back.
